That's why I did my fair share to help prevent binge drinking by buying alcohol for minors after I got out of college.
I Think drinking age could be about 19, 21 is to high.
Kids drink at 18 and in most countries its legal for them to do so. I'd think lowering it to 18 would make more sense. But 21 isn't a huge impost.
Let it be 18 as everywhere else in the world.
A law that's hard to enforce and is arguably impractical also encourages disrespect of the law.

18, 19 21 it really does not matter as when were that young we act like morons when we drink anyway and most do not have any self control regardless.
Just like during viet nam if your old enought to go to fight for your country your old enough to drink lower it to 18.

Just leave it at 21. Immaturity and alcohol is a poor combination.
i think in europe its even lower...14 or 16...cant remember...i dont really care about the age....kids tend to drink if they want to anyways

i say keep it the same we got too many drunk drivers as it is
i did a school project on this. It can't be 18, because some highschoolers turn 18. This would open the door for a lot of kids age 16 and under to get alcohol easily. 19 imo is the minimum, but they have to do something about minors in consumption tickets. I know more kids who got them than did not in college. The fine is not the problem as much as that it goes on your record. A friend of mine got 2 minors and had to change his major away from commercial aviation because there was NO WAY he could get hired with that on his record.
I had a very sheltering mother in high school, this lead to me being blackout drunk 3-4 nights a week my freshman year of college. There needs to be a better way to ease into it. I doubt the states will lower the drinking age because of the revenue the govt gains from minors in consumption/possession tickets
18 for beer and coolers, and then 19 for hard liquour perhaps?

Make it 18 for beer & wine, 21 for liquor.
Keep it at 21 , if kids want it they will have to hustle it like we did when we were young .
It really doesn't matter. When I was 15 I looked like I was 12 and still had a fake ID and drank every day.

It should be the same as the age to vote and the minimun age to be drafted to military service.

18, if you are responsible enough to be able to do porn, fight for your country, buy cigs, vote, die in the military, then you should be allowed to drink. Should be allowed to smoke weed to, but that's a different topic.
Man I know some dumbass 18 year old kids- including what I was 20 years ago. Bottom line is that they'll get it anyway.
