I can see Ryan Mallet becoming another Jay Cutler.....is Cutler a decent pro?

as a buccaneers fan i'm glad he went to carolina, that will keep them f'd up for a while. also in the nfc south atlanta morgaged the farm to move up, good, their f' up will aid the bucs as well. let the saints get older and the bucs take control of the division for years to come.

additionally cleveland now on the clock to make big things happen..............

He isn't on the right team to succeed, he will fail and will be traded or released in 4 or 5 years.

Newton will be average at best. He is no Warren Moon, not even close. Dude is all about Daddy chasing the money and looking pretty for the camera.

Yea run first QB from college never translate that well to the pros. Even guys that could run like Mcnabb or Rodgers were throw first Qbs in college.

This guy is 100% bust...anytime a team drafts a QB, and the bottom ticker's "go to" 1st 2 stats are "rushing yards" and "rushing tds" from the previous college season, START ASKING QUESTIONS!! No running QB has ever won the Super Bowl, and the best of the best at being a running QB (Vick) hasn't really been that close either. It may have been the pick the Panthers had to make for their fans and the excitement and selling tickets and all that...but it certainly isn't going to put them any closer to winning a championship than last year.

I don't get the Panthers drafting Cam. Also don't get the Vikes drafting Ponder or the Titans drafting Locker. These guys are all 2nd rounders at best in my opinion. I still say Ryan Mallet is the best QB in this draft. And is Julio Jones really worth 2 #1s, a #2, and 2 #4s? I guess the Falcons think a WR will help them outscore teams when their D gives up 40.

I don't think that their is bonafide first round QB in this draft. Although I think that there are a couple of guys that may develop into starters down the road. Locker is probably the best of this years crop. I am curious to see how Kapernik will develop, he definitely will get his chances in San Fran.

It's not too hard to be better than Russel. I'm not sold on him, but who knows. I think it's an uphill battle though being on Carolina.

Would have been nice if teams could have had the chance to trade players in this years draft. I would have much rather have liked to see Carolina trade for Kolb or even Palmer. Every team was handcuffed in the draft this year.

he'll be decent (2500yds passing, 700yds rushing) but definately not worth the top pick.

i think gabbert will be the best pro of the bunch.
