I heard 32 dead so far?

It looks like a bomb was dropped there.

My heart goes out to everyone in Tuscaloosa.

the death toll is going to be unreal.

the following places in Alabama have fatalities and have been hit by a major tornado

    Cullman
    pleasant grove
    Tuscaloosa
    west blocton
    alabaster
    centerville
    Fulton dale

these are the ones i know of with loss of life. these are all small cities or municipalities, there are other numerous towns surrounding them the toll will be high.

we have a lot of rural

    it is sad

homes leveled, whole neighborhoods gone, entire business districts gone

the tornado that hit Tuscaloosa stayed on the ground all the way through Birmingham

    unfukking real

i think that 70% of alabama counties have damage........

somewhere in georgia it hit a 3 story hotel, and it collapsed and there are numerous casualties there.

central alabam has taken one right in the ass.

i hope that this never happens anywhere again.

the tornadoes were everywhere and they scalped the landscape.

and they are still on t.v. talking about tornado warnings and places of safety.

Sounds like the University of Alabama avoided getting fukked, but the rest of the city is crushed in Tuscaloosa. Both malls gone from what I heard. It's honestly amazing that thousands of people did not die.

It's very bad. Hundreds dead and billions in property damages. We got lucky here in Georgia and didn't get hit by much. Mother nature at its worst.

I heard from a friend of a friend on Hackberry Lane by the Univ that when the twister was bearing down on the campus....suddenly the statues of the Bear and coach Saban came to life and flew around the storm like Superman and diverted it back toward Northport area

All joking aside....glad all my friends there and in Birmingham are safe but without power and cell service.

Thanks Al. I and my family are fine. We live in the Cullman area and it was hit hard. I am still without power and hope to have that back by the end of next week. Bad news is there is a forecast of more storms tomorrow night. I am ready for a mini drought.

The Alabama death toll is over 225 now. And still rising I believe.
