I can't wait to go fishing this summer.

I always have good success catching bass just off worms. Sometimes I'll use minnows too though.

I agree with both of you, now it's very good time and good weather to go fishing.

You can never go wrong with minnows or maybe a tadpole if you can find or buy those.

bass and pike love spinnerbaits and topspinners too.
if heavily weeded, use a fake frog. even jigs work.

I'm a huge fisherman, but not so much freshwater. I'm all about surf casting and trying to time the tides right with the bait fish, stripers and hopefully blues. Ocean temp is steadily rising in RI, about 5 more degrees and the stripers will be coming thru!

Live bait for bass, live crawfish and small sunfish (2"-3") work well for larger bass. I prefer using artificials for bass, texas-rigged plastic worms are my favorites.

Crankbaits work really well for bass. The yellow, orange, and green combo works really well.

if you want to use live bait use a minnow. if you want to use artificial then go with a spinner, topwater or gulp alive. Gulp makes awesome stuff and i think they have minnows. if you want to get something a lil more expensive look for berkley swimbaits, they work really well

Bass... Spinnerbaits/beatle spins, soft plastic jerk baits (if fished correctly) work great! small rapula's with a rattler inside... I hope that helps

Slow your roll! You may see a few. If they haven't been coming thru in Jersey yet, they aren't coming through to you. Don't get me wrong, a small amount of keepers have been caught in jersey, but you have a good month.

Crawler Harness and REAL Worms always work best for Walleye and Pickrel. Always...
