Same way as an ipod. It connects via usb and you transfer via itunes. I love my ipad. Barely use my macbook anymore other than to rip dvds and intensive ms office or iwork use. Ipad2 is sick but i hear they may have 3rd gen available for this christmas. Im sitting at a sportsclips surfing over 3g as i type this.

What's the deal with adobe flash? I heard the ipad2 doesn't have it, and a lot of video can't be seen? Is this true? I hear this is the main reason for people wanting the motorola xoom.

LOL, very interesting people like apple products just because of fun and of its Prestige , popularity of iPad is more of a brand than of usefulness.

Anyone have any experience with Dell's tablet PC?
It's basically a small laptop/netbook but screen swivels around and can be used as a tablet.

    Doesn't have Bluetooth?

I would lean toward a Android Tablet, if I was to get one.
Unless I got a iPad for free. That is the only way I will own a Apple product.

Of course iPads have Bluetooth. You can purchase a browser for iPad called skyfire that plays flash movies. Not to mention that html5 is going to take over flash's place.

I've said before that the iPad won't replace a laptop but I can't imagine any tablet to do that.

As for those swivel laptop/tablets, those have been around for a long time but they're not cheap either.

This is another version of Dell's tablet PC's. Seems kinda cool, best of both worlds. Touch screen tablet and versatility of a laptop.

I'm definitely looking for the next dell with the swivel screen. I have a HP mini 10 netbook & a dell netbook here that collect dust because they really don't cut it.

Phones and laptops seem to merging into one device. I want something big enough to surf the internet and run some basic software and also act as a phone. Any suggestions?

Wait for the ipad3, Ipad 2 is just an interim model. The 3 will have the hi-res screen and more memory at the same price.
