I wouldn't say pretty Vague. I guess a better question would be what would be a good amount to start with to try to make 5k in 6 months a realistic goal. Of course we are assuming that it is realistic. I realize it is a up and down scenario. Just asking for some feedback on a question. I also agree i have seen some pretty negative feedback. But again, i am only asking for your opinion cant ask you just to be positive .

I don't know the answer. In a perfect world i would make 40k in 3 weeks with the handicapper from heaven that calls and tells me he has 6 games that will be guarantees to win. But we know that never happens and doesn't exist. Asking if i can make 5k profit in 6 months is a legit question thats why i asked.

a more attainable goal is to lose 5 grand in 6 months. i would start with that before profiting so that way you'll feel good about accomplishing your goal! success will soon be yours!

You need to clarify the question. Like what is your starting bankroll, aqnd your disciplined br management that you will use, if any., etc. Of course it easy to do that when one is betting large amounts, But even small depositss have been run up to large amounts just over a weekend.

My starting bankroll will be 500-800 bucks. I plan on betting 10-15 % at the most per bet.

The most i would like to make is 5k. but i would be glad to see half that at least of course.

I made 2 grand in 6 months and tht was with low bet limits and without beards...check out my thread in MMAforum. With use of beards and a lot of arbing it would be quite easy to make 5 grand profit in 6months on MMA.

I was going to give a wiseass reply, but then I figured that it might be possible to bet betpoints outside the site book for all I know, so yes.

I've turned $75-$100 into over $1,000 a couple times in the span of 4-6 weeks with bets no bigger than $100, so 6 months is very possible. Need good money management & probably a 55-60% win rate.

I would say depends on what amount of money you are starting out with. If you are starting out with a bankroll of $100 to $500 No its not possible. But if you have 3000-4000 then yes.

Sure you can even with 500-800 bucks to start.

Either requires a big run or make sure you have an expected value of your bets so that you outpace your win% by a decent margin.

It starts with patience and having percentages in your favor on plays.

That said,putting a hard number or date in which one must achieve this goal will force you to stray away from patience and accept lower percentages.
