Best Italian old school restaraunt in Las Vegas is actually one block from the strip. Bautittas Hole in the wall which I believe is right behind Ballys but it could also be behind Bills Gambling Hall, one of those two.

You could also hit up Tony Roma's restaurant on E. Sahara Ave. This is the restaraunt in 1982 Lefty Rosenthal was at when Splilatro installed a car bomb under the hood of his Cadillac El Dorado. Lots his history at each restarunt

Try Olive Garden, use to have one right across the street from me when I lived in Summerlin.

My sister has lived out there for 12 years now, I'll be calling her tomorrow and if I remember, I'll ask her what her favorite Italian joint is out there.

You have lots of good choices.

Terra Verde at Green Valley Ranch is probably my favorite. It's not formal, but it's definitely a fancy place. The food and ambiance are both great.

Il Fornaio at New York New York is a chain restaurant, but it's still very good. Their specialty is their fresh baked breads, which are the best I've ever tasted.

Zefferino at the Venetian is another great choice.

I recommend staying away from Batista's. They definitely have got the old school vibe down, but for what you pay the food is not good.

Tony Roma's might win the award for the worst food in vegas. Place is just nasty

Conflicting opinions on Battista's, but it is a fun, old-school place if that's what you're looking for. Ian is right on it being overpriced, though.

pieros is old school and high quality.

valentinos at venetian has the best italian food in vegas.

capos italian steak house on w. trop or w. sahara are both good old school ambience as well.
