Grado SR-60i. Extremely accurate and precise sound. Ask any audiophile; they are the best <$100 headphones by some margin.

http://www.headphone.com/headphones/grado-sr-60i.php or basically any high-end audio store.

I have 2 pairs of Shure headphones. One was not that expensive, and sound really good. The other pair was ridiculously expensive, but they are awesome. I'm just not a hell of a lot of help here, am I?

It's hard to go wrong with Sennheiser.

I researched and bought Sennheiser CX300-B Earbuds for $30. They have better sound than my Bose earbuds.

I got the Bose Around Ear Triport headphones. I've had them for a couple years, great sound. On Ebay you can find them for under $100 now.

Cue all the speaker snobs trashing Bose in 3....2......1........

Another vote for Sennheiser HD series here.

I personally use the HD 595. It really does sound like the girls are on top of me.

Beats are overpriced, like pretty much anything made by Monster.
    I recommend Sennheiser.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth stereo headset.
The sound is great and most come with an adapter so you can listen from any source with a headphone jack opening, bluetoooth or not.

    beats by dr. dre

Best I have used are Sennheiser, all they make are headphones and they are dam good and not expensive. Read the reviews on Amazon.

If you need noise cancelling and/or want to spend a little more money klispch has some good in ear headphones.

I wouldn't waste my money on Dr. dre beats, go with either the best speaker maker, klispch or the best headphone maker Sennheiser

I have the Bose ear buds, if you like ear buds they are great. Comes with a couple of different sizes to fit your ears and the sound is excellent.
