    High Speed Internet Options?

I live in an area where I can only get Time Warner high speed internet as far as cable providers go.

Anyone know any other options other than getting a wireless card for my laptop? I've heard of satellite internet but don't know jack about it.

Time Warner sucks donkey balls....service goes down more than it should and their service is the worst

I'd rather pay someone else my money. Eff dem.

satellite is quite expensive for a relatively slow connection ... look for hughesnet (approx $100-$110 for a 2 meg connection) .. and wildblue ($90 for around a 1.5 Meg connection) ... a card for your laptop from a cellphone provider would be faster and cheaper .... If you have DSL (do you have a landline phone service provider?) i'd go with that option .... the grass is not always greener though.

Satellite is not great and should probably only be used if there are no other options.
