can you change your drivers only from your bench or from the main list
from the main list. I just got guys for the next race and replaced from the main list, not from bench.
Also Mike, ESPN does keep up with our Segment Standings, after this sundays race you will see both That Races & The Segment #s will be different. As always i'll also let you know who's in or out of our bets.
Anyone who has not paid to join the 100 Point Segment still can, up till the Start Of the 3rd Race. You guys really made that alot easier on me this year as almost everyone who joined our league, also joined the 100 Point Segment also, instead of just weekly. I'll update the #s for Segment Prize this weekend.
according to the rules you must select 1 driver from A list 2 from B and 1 from C giving you 4 in total only those selected score points although all your bench drivers will score points for qualifying
Yisman i've never played that one b4, but id say the key is using each driver only 9 times, so use your sorry drivers when you get a chance because some of them are only racing limited races anyways. Instead of me trying to explain it, i think this article might help:
Yis, you can change your complete lineup weekly at yahoo. however, there is a deadline on the morning of qualifying [this week, Friday 5am EST] where you are locked in with a roster of 2 A's, 4 B's, and 4C's to chose 1 A, 2 B, and 2 C starters from among your lineup. after this deadline, then the only change you can make is who starts and who is on the bench. you have until 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the race to pick your starters. only your starters in your lineup are deducted one start, the bench is not deducted a start. although, bench drivers are eligible for qualifying bonus points.
thanks gp, that explains it well
so I really need to set yahoo twice. Once early in week, once before race.
Unfortunately I don't think yahoo offers prizes (most of their fantasy sports don't).

edit: wrong thread
do we take Kyle this week or not ?
Where is the "renegotiate salary" button/link? :+clueless
Espn is Not including that this year.Going to take time to get used too. It seems kinda like stocks, if you bought high and it drops your bankroll is less, however if your driver goes up in value your bankroll is more. This is my interpetation of it after reading this:
Please note the following example listed in the How to Play and FAQ sections:
If, for example, you bought a driver at $20.0 million and his value goes up to $21.5 million, you will be able to spend the accrued $1.5 million when you sell him. In other words, if your salary cap was $50 million and you sold that driver then your new salary cap would be $51.5 million to spend on other drivers. However, the opposite is also true in that if you bought a driver at $20.0 million and his value goes down to $19.0 million, you will lose that $1.0 million in salary cap when you sell him.
as always looking for a cheap value driver this week
I foolishly dumped mcmurray misreading board and thinking vickers was available
I then realized mistake but had already switched out jr. and he's the guy in my lineup whose price went up
^^ ouch
I did not understand how the driver prices affected me last year, or how to renegoiate or whatever it was you were all doing.
It appears this year it works how i expected it was going to last year.
i didnt do that either last season...
So for us newbs, what's the strategy this year?
Sell your drivers that increase in value to increase your salary cap? And not sell the ones that drop?
I'm just picking same way I always did. I stink at games fantasy anyways :p
