    Another DSI poker rant....

OMG, I am truly surprised at how mickey mouse this place is. Is there anyone from DSI that monitors this forum like BodogBecky does?

A short (and not comprehensive) list of gripes:

    1) If you use their poker software to try and email their support (HELP>EMAIL DSI POKER), it just opens up a blank email with no address. Are you supposed to guess the address to use?

    2) When you try and chat with support via the live chat support, they ask for your PASSWORD?????? They will not support you if you do not provide them with your password!!!! What is most amusing/ironic/stupid is this is true even if you are contacting them about resetting your password. They have to do it. That is just so wrong on so many security levels, it boggles the mind...

    3) The support folks, just don't seem to care nor have it together. They seem to "virtually" shrug their shoulders when you indicate that you have a problem.

    4) They have apparently have decided that I am not allowed to sit at a poker table if a certain guy is already at the table. When I contact support about this (going through two different chat supports), they indicate that they will contact the security department. I press further about when I will hear back from them, the reply is `in a day or so`. I press further about how I will be contacted (e.g. email), the reply is `try chatting back tomorrow and see if we have an answer`. See point 3 above..... Again, I dont even know if I have ever played against this guy before so I have absolutely no idea why this has happenned.

    5) They obviously allow spanish to be spoken with impunity on the tables and I would bet they have bots or people sharing accounts because no matter the time of the day, no matter the limit, there are a number of accounts that are apparently always on.

There are more issues but these are the major ones. Safe to say, if I bust on this site, I will not reload.

I will get off my soapbox now. I now do not wonder why I prefer Pokerstars. Their support is top notch, pleasant, helpful and quick..... (and this even before they were the behemoth that they are now).

well I had a free bankroll and the tourneys were soft.

I posted this as a carthartic rant and as more of a warning to the rest of the forum.

The ironic-sad thing is now I have just been raped for most of my leftover bankroll (after I cashed out) with a runner, runner backdoor flush. I guess DSi does not like my rants and now turned the doom switch on..

    but never your account password.

It's like if your going to your bank and the CS girl is asking you your NIP for acces to your bank account. NO WAY BITCH

I've pretty much switched most of my play to Full Tilt. My only complaint before was that support was horrendous, that changed when I made Black Card, haven't waited more than 10 minutes for a response since.

play on site where they're is nothing else than the poker will assure you of a good service

in a sportsbook's poker room the priority will always be the sportsbook so this is normal the customer service for poker room is more bad...

    FT / Pokerstars

    A couple of things,

    1) yes Fulltilt's support is better than DSI's but Pokerstars has always been top notch, no matter your level.

    2) You made black card at FT??? How the hell do you make 500FTPs/day for 100 days and still have time to mess around here? Not too mention have a life and/or a job....

What is your normal game at FullTilt?

    Cheers.

It might be normal for sportsbook sites but it is not the norm anywhere else. It is just against every "security" concept I have ever seen. As another poster stated, it is analagous to the bank teller asking for your bank card PIN. It should never be done.

I do not consider my DSI account secure at all now. I am now depending on the guys/gals at DSI's CS departement to not give out my password....

Security questions and/or independant and separate verifications through email are the only normal methods to validate accounts.

    Cheers.

I don't care for how slow the software runs. It was also tough to find tables to play at during certain times of the day.
