Hopefully they will continue with the turbo like format. I love that none of the tourneys took longer than two hours.

Thats the plan but I hate to think they are "turbo" like. I mean seriously 2 hours for 68 guys to play is good. The final table is made in about an 1 hour and 15 minutes. It will be a bit longer in March because each tourney has 90 but that will be cool because the top 10 cash. We can make the blinds anything you guys want. I think its pretty cool to make the final table in 1 hour and say 30 minutes.

I respect the need (SBR) and desire (inexperienced players) to make quick tourneys but I think deeper stacks with longer blind level will really bring the cream of the crop up to the top.

If you ever do a championship tourney structure like you just did, I would seriously recommend that the championship game be a deep stack/longer blind level tourney.

    Just my opinion.

No tournament brings cream of the crop. WSOP has a super deep long blind structure. Its still just a bunch of donks who make the final tables and win.

LOL, only the WSOP Championship (i.e. >$10,000) events are close to deep stacks.

In all of the hundreds of bad beat posts you have made, were any of them from a Fulltilt or Pokerstars deepstack tourneys for >$5 buy in?

    I think not.

Also early on in all tourneys, you tend to have weaker/bad players making bad plays/calls so if you play good poker with a deepstack, you have a better chance to survive bad luck and recover.

Have you every played in a Fulltilt superstack ($11 @7:00pm) or the Pokerstars Deepstack ($11 @ noon) games? Outside of the first hour, you will not see very many bad plays/calls.

With standard turbo and the SBR tourney structure, if you make one or two failed plays and/or missed flop/continuation bet, you are basically in all-in fold or shove mode.

Yes I meant the WSOP ME.

I hate super deepstack tourney's, some of them on PS play for the whole day. 30 minute blinds online, no thanks.

All their other tourneys have mostly the same structure. Too me, they are plenty slow. Variance is big no matter what tourney. All pros are sponsored or staked for a reason.

I enter some of these tourneys hour late with less than 10bb's, I can still get deep quite often.
No need to be wasting my whole day playing with a bunch of nits set/nut mining.

These SBR tourneys are fine, great players adjust to any structure and find an edge.

Id like a little different blind structure or more starting chips,it seems like after 30 minutes to much shoving short stacked.Just my opinion.

I, for one, would prefer a slower structure to allow for better play.

Deep stacks absolutely kill mid to late play.
