that is usually the case, im sure they have a section on the site about rollover amount for free plays/free cash.

if its a free play: From BODOG

A Free Bet bonus allows you to place a wager without having to put up the risk amount from your account balance.

If a wager is won using a Free Bet, the winning funds are transferred to your bonus balance.

Standard rollover applies on all Free Bets.
    3X Sports/20X Casino/3 Poker points per dollar.

EDIT: not sure about the new 5x rollover though

You can to accumulate poker points. 3 Poker points per dollar. So...150 points = 5x roller over I assume.

You don't have to touch the sports book.

I've bought cash for bodog on SBR numerous times and have never placed a bet. While I'm not 100% sure how it gets rolled over in poker, I'm sure it does.

I redeemed some betpoints for a Bodog $50 cash in December (before Feb7), and am 99% sure there was a rollover requirement on it. I don't remember offhand if it was 5X, but that sounds about right.

If I remember correctly, when I was browsing the SBR store at the time, most SBR Cash rewards were about the same, with a 5X rollover, but a few had even higher rollover @ 7X requirements.

In fact I'd venture to guess that a large majority of ALL promotional freeplays, cash, and poker bonuses at all sites have rollover or poker points requirements.

When you receive your bonus, email their customer support. I emailed them and they said "The Rollover Requirements for these bonuses is 5 times in the Sportsbook, 20 times in the Casino and 3 Poker Points per bonus dollar issued on your account."

Granted I did this before the 14th, but none the less customer service should be able to tell you what the requirements are.

5x's rollover has always been there. For sure money can be use for poker and I do believe any poker winnings can be withdrawn as long as you leave $50 balance until it is rolled over.

it will be nice to hear the opinion of bodogvicky
perhaps she can lay the law and settle the issue.
in the mid time i'll send an e mail to bodog for their view however, is safe to say that it makes since what it was posted here abouy
    3 points = 1 rollover point therefore 50 dollars = 250 points.

wow! I didn't realize this was an option. If we can get confirmation that you can grind poker to achieve the rollover requirements, that would be huge!

Ask customer service to be sure, but for their standard bonuses you can play poker instead of sports, something around 3 bodog points per dollar of bonus money before you can withdraw.

Heres the answer i recieved from bodog marketing

This email is to inform you about the rollover requirements for the Sportsbook Review Bonus of $100 you received on February 21, 2011. The bonus rollover requirements are as follows:

    5 X in Sports
    3 X in Poker (3 Poker Points = $1)
    20 X in Casino

A review of your account shows that right after the bonus was credited, you began to play in the Poker room; therefore, you would be required to meet the full requirements in the Poker room by accumulating 300 Poker Points in order to make a withdrawal from your account. Further review shows that you have already earned 120 Poker Points. If you do have any additional questions with regards to rolling over your bonus, we ask that you contact us at the toll free number provided below.
