Poker Disconnects

Did something change? atleast 10 dc's today and i havent had like any in 2 weeks prior.

i'm convinced its got alot to do with windows 7. taking to people at tables who are having a hard time they are all running win7. I started freezing up and disconecting today and broke out my 5 year old laptop with freaking spyware all over it, but running xp it was much smoother than my good pc running win7.

I don't think so. It has to be on the server end. I have had the last two sessions and no disconnects. Nothing has changed at my end. Running on Win7.

Flopped top set and got disconnected. Have been disconnected close to 10 times tonight. I like the product but it's getting frustrating

very--- can play every 2nd 3 rd hand and have to log back in SBR says reinstall software did it a few times no difference
no security or firewalls running
reformatted hard drive no diff
ran PS next to SBR tourny never got disconnected as to SBR 5 times in acouple minutes

People you must do something about server or software. I have no idea what is about,but this poker become peace of shit because we cannot play 2,3 hands in row.

spent more time trying to get connected again than i did playing poker.and everybody that it has happened .said sbr said it was there computer.amazing how the first answer is always the players fault.guess they figure it couldnt be there program cause there stuff always works

It was really bad last night but I won the tourney so no complaints. I got disconnected 8-12 times if not more.

Seemed like it was fine for most people for a while and now all of a sudden a huge spike in disconnects. Something change?

got to the point last night where had to go all in if i had a decent hand,but somone has to look into it

sort of the same for me yest as well. I was on tilt from the get go when i was folded AA for a big pot like 10 hands in.

From 1. day of satellites this shit is happening.Biggest problem is when you raise with good cards someone can call you or re raise and you suck it.This shit happened to me 2 times in a row today and i go all in not so good hand because i had enough of this.
And can someone explain how the fuuk this disconnects happening very often when I(WE) are on BB/SB position.

What's worse for me as that the only way to fix it is to leave the table, which effectively supposes I'm doing it on purpose. Therefore, I don't even get the little bit of "free disconnect time" or the opportunity to not just get my blind folded automatically. Late in the game when the BB is a 10th of a stack, that's downright devastating.

Playing ring games now, im getting dc'd on 2 tables but not the other one. Any one else have any problems like this?

So instead of complaining, I'm going to ask a legitimate question. What can we do about the disconnects? I'm no programmer, but it's almost obvious that it has something to do with Windows 7. With more and more people migrating to windows 7 in the future, the problem isn't going away, it's only going to get worse.

Just to advise I haven't gad any issues disc on my windows xp platform but at least disc about 5 times per tourney on windows 7. Someone might wanna take at the OS.

I've noticed that I only get disconnected from the game server when I have the "auto muck" box checked. I was disconnecting every few hands, but once I unchecked the box, I had no more issues.

I've been getting DC'd every 3 hands or so...placed 8th still but I missed alot of free hands and paid hands...frustrating. Windows 7.

FYI: I have Windows 7 (64bit) and automuck turned on and I have not any disconnect issues for almost two weeks. I would be willing to bet that it is server/software based.

Only guessing here but it might have to do with the security/encryption SSL handshake. I see the re-negotiation every time it disconnected.

This could be to just an over-loading (encryption takes a lot of processing power on the server, and sometimes on the client).

Just an educated guess but either way, I do not believe it is specifically a Win 7 issue.
