played 2-5 today took a beating, lost big hand with pocket queens vs ak flop was ace but 2 hearts turn was a heart so i had queen of hearts needed queen or heart on river that hurt, then lost a decent pot flopped nut flush draw didn't hit called big bet on turn river blank, so i'm down to short stack and every dealer change they do this double board bomb pot plo which i find so dumb 10 dollar ante

    i got 887A my suits weren't important

flop top board AA3 bottom board 569

i'm thinking wow this is great i'm going to win both boards, i do pot wh ich was 80 two callers turn is

    AA36
569 4 of spades two spades now on bottom board

i go all in whatever i have left 200 something one lady calls

    river AA362
    5694Q spades

i'm like i gotta win at least 1 of these board jesus

lady has A6j5 with two spades

so she turns a fullhouse on me with a6 and she rivers a spade to make a flush and i lose both boards, i swear pot limit omaha is just silly game nuts on flop is almost worthless

Sat down yesterday for about 90 minutes. Same old shit. First orbit I get QQ and raise with 2 callers. Flop is 955 and unknown guy leads out for $20. I'm a little confused so I just call. Turn is a 10. He checks and I check since he's in the big blind and might have a 5 somehow. River is a K...he bets $25. I make a crying call and he's got TT. Hit a 2 outer on me. DIdn't cost me that much, but just typical of how I've been running over there.

You lost the minimum. Well played. Over the long run saving money on hands like that adds up to a lot.

Well played. Bad turn check by the opponent. That's a mistake a lot of weaker players make - they hit gin and think they must automatically go into slowplay mode. You called a 955 flop so probably have something, opponent should just continue with the natural turn bet and not give you the chance to check behind and see a cheap showdown

But yeah, you definitely lost the minimum, in the long-term view that's a win for you

I could only get seated in the 1/3 game. Bought in $300 and cashed out $1,075.

I’ll post a couple of the hands when I get home.

It was a pretty easy game. There were a couple capable guys in the game but most of the players did not have much of a chance to leave with anything.

My best hand of the night was this one. I had an older Latino guy on my right all day. He was awful but he luckboxed several hands and won enough big pots off of the other guys to be a little ahead.

1/3 game. I'm under the gun and I raise it to $16 A2 suited and I get 3 calls including the Latino in the big blind. Flop comes 223 rainbow. Latino leads out for 20, I flat and the others fold. Turn is a 2 and Latino bets $40. He led out all game when he had a big hand so I knew he had an over pair. I raise it to $120 and he calls. River is a 9 and he leads out for $75. I raise to $250 and he instacalls with KK.

Those of you that have played with me know that I am super aggressive and I always try to take command of the table. I had 4 large beers waiting to get a seat so I even more aggressive and I had them all on their heels 15 minutes into the game. I probably didn't get 3-bet more than 4 times in 6 hours of play.

Nice one. I always buy in with $300-$325 for some reason ($400 max). I get tables like that occasionally, but lately its a bunch of passive people that won't even bet the nuts or close to it. Can't make any money with people that won't put $ in the pot?

Yesterday was poker appreciation day with giveaways at the top of every hour. My friend wants to sit with me and he's only played live once before with me. He cracks KK with Q8 although the fish limped with KK. Then he makes quads with Q6 suited and cracks a shorty with KK. He has no idea wtf he's doing and won $450

Meanwhile I keep getting AK and raising, followed by flops of J36 with people that can't fold middle pair. I gave up after 2 hours and watched NFL. Didn't lose much and actually finished up $250 with live betting Bengals +3.5

Playing PLO .50/$1 (6 handed) on Bovada right now. Goddamn game is addictive. Immediately get KKQ4 double suited raise it and get repopped for $15. I call and flop is TTA so I fold. Next hand I get AA82 or something with 3 diamonds. I limp for $1 and big stack makes it $4.50. I pop to $15 and he calls. Flop JXX with 2 diamonds. I shove he calls and wins J7. I think he rivered it but it goes so fast?

Bought back in another $100 and flopped a set with A44X and then hit runner runner nut flush. That got me even and now I'm up $55. Crazy game

I'm not that good at PLO, but I think my game is better then my results. I'm unsure about value betting and always think someone has the nuts even though I only play this little 6 handed shit online

In my defense I'm patient and atleast need 3 connected cards or big suited pair or something. I'm also on the numbers with pot size/pot odds etc. I'd really like to improve, but a big part of me thinks PLO is basically roulette with cards anyway

$1/$2 now PLO (6 handed) Bovada. Sit down with $100

    1st hand AAKX (AK hearts)

Guy makes it $7 with 1 caller. I pot it for $29 and both of them call. Wasn't expecting that. FLop is 6JQ 2 hearts. I shove $71 with nut flush and treetop straight draw and they both call! River is a heart.....NUTS. Nice to hit a hand once in a while!

Donked off about $75 of that, but still up $200 tonight. NOt too bad. I'm not getting cocky or thinking I'm a PLO expert now

    flop 458 all diamonds

guy who re raised to 60 makes it 200 and he only has 80 left behind, other guy folds and i call in a sec, figuring if he had ak of diamonds or aq why would he bet so much he would want to keep us in, i put him all in well he turns over ace diamonds 9 of hearts turn blank river diamond couple hands later stack is gone, that's the beauty of poker a blank on the river i'm up 500 instead my chips are all gone soon after

I'm sorry man. Just keeping making the right reads and shit will turn in your favor. Of course you know that already. I played about 3 hours today and won $270. Bluffed off about $150 on the last hand, but turn gave me open ended straight flush draw so what are you going to do when you blank the river and he's never bet once? He flopped 2 pair, but never acted like it. Other then that I was running good.

Played last night. Caught some great hands and felt like I should've been a nice winner, but only $150 up when I left the poker room and I lost $225 playing blackjack. Cutting way back on the blackjack. As for poker, I think I just played too many hands. Got 2 guys all-in and never got caught myself, but I was down to like $150 from $400 before I got going.

Set of 4s and shoved on the river and he called with aces up I think? THat got me almost even

Funny hand later. I get a wild hair and raise 34 clubs to $11 when its folded to me in middle position w/2 callers

Flop is 25T with 1 club

THey check to me and I make it $25 trying to steal it right there. 1 caller

Turn is an Ace diamonds, putting 2 diamonds on the board

Bingo!! Check to me and I make it $50. He checkraises to $100. Now this guy was super passive so it almost guaranteed a set in my mind. I don't think he'd make it $100 on AT even.

I shove and he says I must have AAA. I say no I don't have 3 aces...lol. He calls and then asks if I want to run it twice and I say no thank you. People have hit enough longshots on me for big pots and I just had a feeling he would miss.

He has 555 and the river is a blank for him. I was up about $250 at that point

Got stupid with blackjack, but still a really productive month. Just going back n forth with cbb, but probably hitting 60%?

Playing the $270 Knockout tourney on Saturday. Never played it. You get a $100 chip for everyone you knock out

Cashed in the $270 yesterday. That was fun! I was getting some big cards, but nobody would run with me. Decent stack, maybe 28-30K from 20K start after a few hours. We had 48 buy-ins total. I finally got a Knockout with JJ from small blind after a shorty shoved from the button with JQ. Got another KO by calling from big blind. Almost folded K9, but he had JT suited and I won that one too.

Final table of 10. I'm about 7th place. We get down to 6 and I'm the shorty. Get QQ and shove and big stack calls with 99. That saved me then two of us make the same straight and take out the bubble man. Now I've got $250 in knockouts and I know I'm cashing. I'm in 2nd-3rd in chips and thinking I might win.

One guy shoves 22 and big blind calls with K8 and flops an 8. I'm excited about moving up and then the river is a 2. Fuckkk. Had a feeling that might cost me 4th. Right after I lose AK to JJ all-in and I'm the shorty again.

I have barely enough for 2 rounds of blinds by this point and dumbshit guy shoves K4 hearts UTG. Big stack calls with AJ and flop is like 357 with 2 hearts and then he rivers a K. Stupid play because he should've given away 4th place, but got lucky. I busted right after.

Fun tourney. AK JJ goes my way and I probably win ($1900+) or 2nd for $1150. Still though got $396 for 5th + the $250. Total profit $376

I'll play it again, but still ridiculously high rake. Prize pool was only $4800 so thats $100 each and $100 for Knockouts so they're keeping $70 for the rake. Thats 26% rake which it too f high. I'll play it again though. Alot of bad players

Hey Fred do you know Jonathan? Young skinny guy with a beard and he wears a Strange Brew beanie. He's had it on the last two times I played. Ask him about playing with me today. He'll know who you are talking about when you mention the big guy that was running over the game on Sunday.

Fred this is a dumb question, but I'm curious. Does that casino block you from competing sites websites? Like in PA, i can't go on draftkings at any casino in Pittsburgh. This is a big problem for me and a reason I have played live less lately.

Sorry for the delay, but my new job is kicking my ass. I walk a ton.

No, I get on MGM and DK at Caesars all the time.

Poker wise.....got my ass kicked last 2 times. Taking a break.

Sat down $1/$3 PLO for the first time last weekend. Went from $300 to about $360 with no big drama for about an hour then I get 567K double suited

Flop is 4 8 J with 2 diamonds and I have K5 diamonds. I don't remember what was in the pot preflop, but a guy bets like $45-$50 and I just call behind him. Turn is a 5 for the nut straight. He bets and I pot it. We get it all-in and he has me covered. He has 9TQQ diamonds so I have him covered on the flush. He's holding his own blockers which is weird. I was 77%, but he spikes a 9 on the river and takes it

Last night I'm sitting at a boring ass NLH $1/$3. I get up like $50, but give it back slowly. No real action except for 1 guy and I can't get involved with him. New guy sits down and plays the big blind with about $250. I'm the small blind. I sat down with the $400 max and had right at $400 I think. 3-4 limpers and I look down to black JJ. I make it $28 and everyone folds but the new guy.

Flop is 56J with 2 hearts

I make it $15 trying to look weak and he makes it $30. I decide to see the turn/trap attempt and just call. Turn is black Q and I check. He bets around $50 and I shove. He calls with 89 hearts and hits a heart on the river.

He had 11 outs on the flop and 13 on the turn with a double gutshot 56 and JQ. Shit happens and he had outs, but everytime I try to bluff raise on a draw I miss....and I mean EVERY TIME. I raised 34 suited not long ago and cracked a dude that flopped 555, but I never bluff raised or check raised. He just called with 555 on the flop as well. Every time I try to steal a decent pot away on a semi-bluff draw it whiffs. Pisses me off. Then this f guy sits down and doubles up first hand.

I immediately get up with $150ish because the table sucked anyway and lose it at blackjack. Can't win 2 cbb games in a row either. Taking a break for a bit

Went 2 weekends ago. Nothing happening for a few hours then a few people came and went. I called a raise to $20 with QT suited from the big blind after the raise and atleast 3 other callers. Busted the raiser (lady in her 60s) with KK and check raising $75 with T diamond diamond flop. I hit a diamond on the turn and shoved the rest of my stack. She wasn't very good and calls me with KK (no diamond). She's drawing dead. She's very nice and tells me nice hand, etc

I'm up like $350+ after that and build it up a little. Its getting later and I'm about ready to leave. I think it was Friday night and I'm worn out from my job. I look down at AA. I make it $20 and get 4 callers I think. Loose ass game by this point. Same old lady calls with Q6 suited.

Flop is Q 3 7 (or something close?) rainbow. I make it $60 and she's the only caller. Turn is a 9. She's only got like $150 left so I shove. She says "Why so much? I have a queen". I'm thinking to myself....I'm up like $600 if I win this pot right here and she's such a nice lady. I say "Queens no good maam". She ends up calling and hitting a queen on the river.

Now I'm back to $350 or basically what I started with. I get up and move to a PLO game

My first time playing PLO here. Table was really passive pre-flop and bad. I get down to like $180 and have nut flush draw on the flop. 2 guys pot it before me so I also shove and spike a diamond on the river.

I think one guy had a set and the other showed queen high diamond flush. I had about the same outs as the lady did to crack my AA. So what goes around comes around usually. No other big hands I can remember, but I ended up winning $600 anyway. Went to play PLO last Saturday night and they didn't have a game going. It was fun, but much more volatile then 1/3 hold'em for sure

Think I lost slightly at hold'em last weekend, but I'm finally running good cbb so thats where I stayed most of the time
