Also, looks like they have a wheel where you spin and get tickets or even the prize now. You do have to play a little. I played the 5 and 20 on mgm and that was enough to get a spin. I got a free 20 dollar ticket on that, so I will use that if I bust here. I know you have to play some because Borgata has the same wheel and it wouldn’t let me spin.

and i make an icm disaster in the $100 satellite pushing all in with 88 utg with 2.2 bbs after being card dead forever and trying to wait out the other short stacks to bust. i think i went on semi-tilt when at my table a short stack went all in for 2.3 bb utg and the bb with 12 bbs folded. next orbit was when i see the 88 utg and push but should have just folded because i still wouldve been able to make it through the bb and sb. damn it hate finishing right on the bubble

Just about to the break, having a lot of issues with the site. Did win a decent pot with a full house but also missed a hand where I had kings on the button everyone folded (including me getting d/c) and the small blind raised and bb fold. Who know what would have happened there. Entry period will last until about 10 after 10 so still early. Did finally get the iPad running so that’s good at least.

One interesting hand I had at the final table.

Had red kings, raised both blinds call. Im in first out of 8 at this point with about 10x the buyin (close to what I thought I needed to lock it up). Flop was 8x10sJs. They check I bet half the pot (around 30k), sb folds BB makes it 119k. I fold right away. Had never seen him and he was in 3rd at that time. Pretty much only block KQ and he could have just about anything in that spot. Well, he turned out to be pretty loose, so I was probably good there, but I pretty much made it risk free so I think was a good fold overall. Busted a low stack when I shoved with aq from the small blind and he had a5 in the big blind, but pretty much cruise control at the final table. Something else that helped was one player had about half the chips in play when we got 6 handed and he kept playing and winning pots that he didn’t need to be in, so that was a big help

Thanks, they sent 700 for travel expenses today to the account. A little surprised they didn’t send an email with room information, dates, a formal schedule. Any other trip I won they sent that right away. Going to ask support at some point today if they are going to do that at some point.

Had a 20 dollar freebie left and was able to sneak into the 100 round. I really wish that sites ran stuff like this just for real money. Like in 4 steps you could turn 5 bucks into 5000 or something like that. I really think most players struggle with how to play satellites, especially these where 20-25 percent of the field advances

Pretty sure. Last week our remainder payout for PA was 2200 and change, I would be fine getting that if it came to it. Going to play this 100 dollar ticket tonight that I have.

No luck tonight. Made a big raise from the small blind with ak after the CO limped. Flop was j23 diamonds I have the ace of diamonds he had already gassed off half his stack so I bet figuring I have to play for what he has left. He had 610d. So I drop half the chips early. Hang around for a while get 56d blind v blind flops 4d5xJd I bet he shoves he got 89d hits a running 89.

I don’t have any tickets right now. If I get any I’ll go back in. If not, I will update this from Vegas

Haven't been around here for a few weeks but I did get a 5 dollar ticket last night. I turned that into 100 which I used tonight.

After the reentry 14 left 6 tickets 7th 404. I get KK BB. I'm in 3rd. One big stack limps, other big stack SB completes. Both guys are awful, especially the small blind. blinds 2/4k, I just shoved 160k preflop as I figure might as well just take the chips, not really interested in playing the hand against these 2 who could cripple me when I am pretty close to sit out time. Limper folds, Small blind (180K) calls with AJ and hits the ace. The sick thing is I would have just checked AK there preflop as I was pretty happy with my stack and not interested in playing big stacks that don't realize it's a satellite.

I do have some news on the event finally. They sent me something to fill out my room request. The 25k freeroll will be on the 22nd and the main event starts the 23rd. Both final tables (6 handed) will be filmed at the poker go studio. Looks like 9 hours of play 23rd, 24th, and get down to 6 players on the 25th, and that final table is the 26th.

I've never played a daily deepstack at the wsop, but I always heard they were soft.

I actually like the shovefest type of tournament better in live poker. A slow structure will give you more $/tournament, but a shovefest will give you more $/hour imo. GL!

Is this better than just checking behind on the flop, if you know you fold to a reraise? Did you consider checking flop?

This was a while ago but I would check the flop in a regular tournament in that spot. In a satellite I think bet fold is ok especially when you have the lead anyways. They should nit up in that spot but some can’t do it.

I'm not surprised to hear that the Paris WSOP is a clusterf**k because that's the way it always was at the Rio... If you're with female company the outdoor patio section of Mon Ami Gabi at Paris is the nuts for a romantic dinner. It's pretty good if you're alone too. Win, have fun and eat well.
