This guy is so awful but SBR rewards that

Even if after his awful preflop and flop call he thinks floating out of position is a good strategy does he really think I'm going to fold to a club?

Software obviously thought you had 1010 - will have Optional check the RNG today. Good catch, its been getting out of sync on even numbered days during the 3pm tourney quite a bit lately

The software is getting crazy now. Being beat on the river with a superior flop is now the norm instead of the exception.

There is a turn and river for a reason. The leader on the flop does not always win.

    I doubt it

Don't think I have ever called a pot sized flop bet out of position for over 25% of my stack with an undercard gut shot

Blaming his flop action for your atrocious play on the turn is nonsense.

Enlighten us, are you bluffing KK in that spot or value betting with your all-in? If, in your mind, its a value bet what the hell does he have he can call with??

This hand illustrates why peeling cards works so well on SBR. All you see is your KK and you went derp, derp, gotcha1!, Rawwwll Iinnnn!! Did it even occur to you to call the $300 and reassess on the river?

Of course - like most players here that never get better, you will summarily dismiss what I have stated here and continue to bemoan your bad luck and highlight the 'poor play' of others. See you at the tables!!

Admittedly the turn push was questionable

If I didn't know he was a loose player (didn't know he was THAT loose) to begin with I may have just called. Too likely he's on a flush draw or pair and straight draw there for me to just let him draw cheap on the river.

His play up until then, which was God awful, is a separate issue from me pushing on the river IMO. I can see that if he is getting 10 to 1 type implied odds, but he was never getting near the right odds on anything until he hit his miracle.

Not trying to be snooty here, but I'm consistently at the top of the leaderboards while you're (jokingly or not) typing "rigged" every time you lose. There's a wide range of play acceptable at free money poker, and all of it works at least some of the time, but defending his play while acting like I'm clueless is a little over the top bro.

Pot is like 5k after the turn minbet, dhristov has 4k behind. dlowilly's all-in is a completely standard bet. Flatting just lets draws get there cheaply, and any raise size that's worth anything commits stacks anyway. You shouldn't be looking at what to raise in relation to the minbet, you should be looking at what's in the pot

A lot of SBR online poker players who win here will be chewed alive and lose everything with real cash at a brick and mortar place.

People do crazy sheit on here just because since it is not "real" money, then they just don't care.

Your mistake is one I often make on here. In a "real" game you want to try to bet small & get a call and hope the

guy catches a little something, and then you get more money out of your hole Kings than just the blinds.

But on THIS donk software, you just have to go all in right off the bat and take the mere pittance of blinds.

If I get AA or KK on here and bet small so as to try to "set a trap" for someone Like Hellmuth does, then they donk

out something that beats me like 75% of the time on this SBR software! On this SBR stuff, you just gotta go all in

and take the $500. Or it yanks out a huge donk on you and makes you pull your hair out!

Bad players usually make excuses like that. I guess blankoblanco, friedcheese, dlowilly and others that are always at the top of the leaderboards are just the luckiest guys in the world? Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess..

A lot of SBR players are much better than anything I've seen at brick and mortar card rooms. I'd venture to guess that I have played more hours live than 95% of the players here as well.

Just saying, maybe your "bad luck" is actually your poor play that you refuse to recognize or be honest with yourself about.

LOL I'd never even look at a "leaderboard" or even dream of claiming anybody was "good" or "bad" when the games in question are 30 person 1 hour long tourneys for NO REAL MONEY where you have to get lucky as hell on about 10 all ins before you place in the top 6!! I mean damn, just play in them and see if you get lucky or not and then move on to the next one! Only the final game for real money means anything!
I seem to always have terrible luck during the qualifying, but if I can somehow barely make it into the main event, then I have always gotten lucky in the final game and made it to the final table and scored big money. Does that mean I am going to say that I am "better" than all the guys on the "top of the leaderboards" when it comes down to playing one game for "real" money? LOL I just don't look at free poker that way.

Yeah, it truly looks like he just flat out didn't care and was just air-calling for no reason.

or maybe he knew he was going for the low percentage suck out, & didn't care because it wasn't for real money.

But once you saw that 6 7 8 had hit the board, then you just have to start laughing and knowing that

your KK has gone down the tubes on this software. LOL Last final game I was in, I got 3rd place for $200

and the way I got beat was that I had AA in the hole, so of course I went all in!!

Dude called my all in with 99 in the hole and the board came 8 7 2 6 10.

Nothing is "unusual" about it to me! LOL I got it all in as an over 80% favorite with only 3 people left! But it didn't hold up for me! If you knew me then you'd know that I would say that I CAN'T believe I made it to 3rd place before I got donked out by something like that! LOL I was just commenting to the OP about a bad beat with a high hole pair!

However, I don't consider it "complaining" for the OP (or anybody else) to post about a bad beat.

I gotta disagree with you here bosco. The 6 isnt a great card for him but there's still a ton of combo draws that he could have gotten action against. If a guy puts in a pot size call on the flop and the 6 helps him at all, hes gonna stay in for the ride. Calling 300 when he's ahead most of the time seems pretty bad, and allows many of the hands he has beaten to river him cheaply. If this was the 6c, then I do agree with just calling, because that's an atrocious card but Willy can still flush the river.

I wouldnt do it, but at least he can get some better hands to fold on this one. Hard to call with less than a queen, or maybe a big club draw.

Given how loose aggressive dlow is he could have had any 2 cards there. Dan kelly has ton of fold equity there, not that bad of a play, if wrong there is good chance of SBR special.
