What are best sources for Poker info?

I like the Lex Veldhuis videos.

Card Player.com is good to review hand matchups.

Elky's tournament book was good. Like all poker books, the info gets dated.

Good insight. At the moment, there are a TON of guys promoting themselves as poker coaches. Some good, some hot-air.

Been doing a good bit of poker reading. Will give my quick reviews:

*Alexander Fitzgerald. I really don't like this guy. I'll give him credit for presenting the topic of 3-betting. If poker is a game of applying aggression + responding to said aggression...then 3-betting is a key topic to review. What I don't like about Fitzgerald is that he's really not a good writer at all.

*Jonathan Little. I am really starting to like this guy. Pretty honest, he puts out a lot of content. Presents himself as a regular guy, and I think it works. Very straight-fwd writer. I think a lot of people can learn a thing or two from Little.

*Matt Affleck. Famous for going deep in BB wsop Main Events several years ago. I like that he touches on some topics that haven't been discussed too much b4. I will say that I will go out of my way to watch any content Affleck presents.

Those three are behind Pokercoaching.com. It's mostly an outdated site even though it's relatively new I believe. Anything Jonathan Little puts out should probably be ignored. The game has passed him by and I doubt he could compete in today's game like he used to. He obviously has some very good results from a while back but there is so much better material out there. There is a reason he coaches now and seldom plays. You make a name for yourself and then get paid to teach it. That's all he does now.

Alex Fitzgerald used to do very well online but also plays very little now. He was a solid aggressive player before it became standard. He spews quite a bit but can be tricky to play against.

Matt Affleck is someone I definitely respect and while I've never seen anything he's done coaching wise I know for fact he's a talented player. He still does well online and live and if his coaching is half as good as his ability on the felt I'd say his advice would be the best.

If you want something with everything that is pretty good material go with Upswing Poker. But if you want top material you need:

    MTT - Raise Your Edge
    Cash - RunItOnce
    PLO - PLOMastermind

Now with regards to free material there actually is a lot of decent stuff out of YouTube. It might take you a while to gather all the info you want so those courses are kind of a fast track correct content. But srs unless you are going pro I recommend upswing. Easy to understand, friendly, and a ton of content with great community

Baller, Raise Your Edge? You talking about the Elky book? It was good...but a little dated now.

OK. I think Elky's book has similar title. Raiser's Edge.
