The problem with the 2500 is you still a shovefest at the end and the tournament is longer to get to that point. You'll never have a game where it's 5 handed and everyone has 10-20 big blinds, without making it so long it's not even worth playing.

Considering average tourny was 90 mins with 1500 chips, apparently you're ignorantly promoting 1000 chips or less to make tourny less than 60 mins.

    Your stats are way off.

My concern is enough starting chips for a skill based tourney, I'm not the least bit concerned about your bedtime.

    exactly

if you want skill based, it should be 700 starting stack with longer time for each round

Stop with the poker events and use that savings to bring back the old daily payouts. Maybe have a year long contest paying the top 1-5 of the yearly board or something like that too. It would energize the dailies and cash games plus keep guys motivated to play more to chase a year end prize.

I downloaded it, going to see if I can figure it out....

Played once here years ago and got dicked out of first place money.

A Greek sponsored event and at the end only me and a player that was not eligible to play were left.

The whole time he kept saying it was just for fun, he wasn't old enough to enter.

Got heads up with just he and I, went all in 5 or 6 times in a row until it was over......

Then was told I wasn't going to get 1st place money, LOL, nobody would get it.

Strangest decision I've ever seen. They didn't pay the guy, he was not eligible, nobody got 1st place since he "won".

That said I'm back, I have a 5 year cap on grudges, going to see if I can get screwed out of something else.

Action always slows down on the bubble and you have a full table so that also promotes slower play. If you did have 10 payouts you would have to bring hand for hand back since 11th would bubble. 8th doesn't get much anyways. If it was up to me, I'd put those prizes for 6 to 8 into 3rd 4th and 5th. I definitely think paying 5 or 10 would work better than 8. Not really much to complain about though, last format was the best one on this site for a while. Obviously, if you paid 10 the top prizes would have to suffer a little.

Drew, (or any of the points winners from the last tourney) If you win points for finishing 5th or 6th or whatever,

are they betpoints or poker points?

AND the main question, do they have to be bet or rolled over? Or are they "usable" in the SBR store immediately?

    Thanks

    Drew

This maybe nothing but is there any reason a rollover would say 64/165 (rolled 5) ? Actually pretty sure i lost them so wasnt owed the 5 at all so not sure why it says that. Maybe nothing just never seen it.

I will explain it. There is a method to the madness. Lets say that you have a 40 point rollover. Well if you start with 36 for instance and lose you VERY FIRST hand all in and no points left, then you in essence rolled over 4 points since you cant buyin for any game with that amount

It works no matter what time you go all in a lose. I have done with as much as 9 points
