fwiw i wish someone would explain to me how to get to 80 without finishing in top 3. I end up with 4th place and feel like i'm at the little kids table eating come easter. I believe this will be the first yr I have to go into my pocket for the hundy instead of reuppng with points. Could it be the poker change.... maybe. Could it be i'm a bad gambler...most definitely. I was a member of the other site since 2002 and as chico2663 since 2004. This site is so much better and if people think of roi for playing poker than or then don't play. This site is one of the few that you can play poker for nothing and make friends while doing so.

The "promo" is better than nothing and since it doesn't take much time or effort to qualify your right I will continue to play in them but it still sucks compared to how it was.

Can SBR at least cut the blind levels down to 5-6 mins from 8 mins if they are going to cut the points down?

Pretty sure every one of them will not play the next promo. Speaking for myself, I played the very minimum possible to qualify. Because it's just too much of a rip-off as a daily, and it's insulting, and I really, honestly don't know who you think you're helping by defending them. Check yourself

Maybe if more people realize that poker here won't pay the mortgage, there would be less complaining. Bottom line, if you don't like the set up, don't play. Not that hard for most to understand. Hasn't this already been discussed and decided to death? It's worth it if you find some entertainment value in it, same with pretty much everything else on the site. If you went pro just for poker, I guess it didn't work out as well, but plenty of other people go pro for other reasons than poker. If it's not worth it, don't renew.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism about formats, and it's true it hasn't been listened to well in the past...but just asking for more points seems pointless (hah!). Complaining you don't see the value in it sounds like a personal problem, and not one SBR should fix.

If you're looking for a financial gain from poker, play for cash and make far more than you ever could from points...with one notable exception, I'm sure the regular players here could do far better elsewhere from a strictly $$ perspective.
