You just make sure you watch my progress in the tournament. I'll be the black dude wearing the hat that says "big business" and dark shades.

Poker is a pure game of luck anybody can advance deep with the right cards

If it was skill the same players would be right there year after year but new names every single time

Because death & taxes are all anyone can guarantee.

You can't guarantee a final table, especially with no live experience.

What inexperience? Playing live for the first time? Because I'm certainly no "noob" to the game and I certainly wont be playing afraid like so many of the players in that tournament. As I've previously stated. The majority of them are just playing to survive and cash. I'm playing to hunt and kill.

Whether it's online or live, the game is still the game. That does not change.

It will definitely be an interesting tournament, no doubt seeing as all I have been doing is playing on play chip imaginary money for the past 7 years. Like I said, on paper, I shouldn't even make it out in Day 1 clashing against seasoned real money razz players, but you know what?

    Get ya popcorn ready

There is no all in in razz. the "all in" is an equalizer that evens the playing field in a game like holdem or omaha. It gives inferior players a fighting chance against superior players.

In razz, your game better be right up there with the competition you're playing up against, otherwise reality is gonna set in extremely quickly and you'll be eliminated very quickly and there isn't anything you can do about it. That's why there was only 97 players in it last year. All of them are good at what they do. I'm gonna show that my play is good enough to be at this years final table.

Big Business - The term you are looking for is "Limit" vs "No Limit". Almost all poker games have both variations.

I was just trying to dumb it down for him. Razz is strictly limit

A is the lowest in the deck.

I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that you will be Rookie of the Year... I'm not worried about that at all. My main concern is that you won't be league MVP and there's always the possibility that you won't bring home a Championship ring.

Lol, happens all the time and players go on tilt because of it. I've seen the previous two razz events. (there has only been 2016 and 2017 10k events) Good players were going on tilt after it happened to them. Even I was guilty of going on tilt with hands like that many years ago, but I've learned to greatly control my tilting to the point where it doesn't even phase me anymore. If I take a brutal beat, I just stay calm, take a deep breath, reset and continue. I know longer tilt in this game.

But you know what? A234Q is still a hell of a lot better than one would think. It can beat a king, a higher queen and a paired up hand. Don't automatically assume just because you hit a brick wall on 7th street with a hand like that, all is lost. The other player may have hit a brick wall as well down the stretch. At that point, it comes down to how well you remember your opponents previous hands. A photographic memory certainly helps things go along more smoothly, but that goes for any poker game.

    Examples: A234K 2345K 3456K A235Q A236Q 2345Q 2356Q A2344 A2355 etc. are all worse than A234Q.

Hell, even A234K has a fighting chance. As long as your hand is not paired like say A2344, you have a chance.

Couple of alarm bells going off though:

-OP has been killing play money games and is convinced he will now kill a WSOP live event

-OP says all ins in no limit are an equalizer in favor of less skilled players, but claims he will be "bullying" WSOP pros in a limit game

Like I said, I wish you luck bigbusiness. It just seems like there is a good chance you're inviting everyone to your own expensive, elaborate funeral

It’s 7 card stud low with no 8 qualifier. Lowest 5 cards win. Like OP stated above it’s one of the most brutally tilting games if you let it get to you.

I should be there playing all the small NLH tourneys, I'll probably see you there. I think I have the SBR record of 3rd place back in 2014 in a $1000 bracelet event, unless poster Dan Kelly is the real Dan Kelly.

-Yep, have been playing strictly play money razz for the past 7 years. But as I've previously stated, I have caught the attention of quite a few real money razz players on pokerstars that play at the nose bleed cash tables, that sometimes take the time out of their day to sit and play heads up play money with me best 2 out of 3 and smoked each and every one of them that challenged me. There hasn't been a single one of them that has beat me best 2 out of 3 and I have played quite a few of them. Maybe they weren't giving it their all. Who knows. But as for me, I know that I was giving it my all each and every time.

-absolutely. I plan to come out swinging for the fences right at the opening bell. If I get anywhere of a sizable chip stack early on, that's bad news for everyone at the table, because I'm going to push my weight around on everyone. Not taking my foot off the accelerator when there is blood (scared players) in the water. Now don't get me wrong, I'll be looking to make it in the money just like everyone else, but at the moment I am guaranteed my buy-in back, I DON'T GIVE A FUKK AT THAT POINT. I'm going all out. To hell with 2nd place. I didn't come there to finish a loser. I came for the bracelet.

You want some more alarm bells?

    - I've never read a single razz book from any top pro razz player (and there are a few of them). Taught myself from scratch.
