Had a family member ill so was dealing with that & work so just getting back into the grind. Resigned up yesterday at WSOP and what a monumental pain in the ass. From sign up to trying to play just brutal. I don’t remember PokerStarsNJ being this difficult. Their iPad set up is from the early 2000’s. Any jersey guys playing here? What’s traffic like. No lobby to see anything. Just bad.

Sweep what do you think the issue is here? I had ACH payounts through PSNJ the next day and 15 minutes if I was down Resorts to collect. How is the traffic? Did you ever get your payout? Nice hit BTW

This is why I have 3 days left on my PokerstarsNJ chat ban. Guys call anything w small PP. you couldn’t even get off the hand after the flop call as there were so many draws. Guy prob had no clue what 3 bet even means. Shit happens. He’s calling any preflop raise so just move on.

Wsop softwAre is just the worst.

Not that much money for a setmine there imo at all pre, not an overcall given his implied odds.

Of course, setup city on the flop.

Seems pretty standard play by both, tough beat I guess.

    Good vlogging though 👍

44 in the small blind is ok starting hand unless facing a raise.....Muck city vs. a 3-bet

We agree to disagree. He could have gotten both of your stacks, so about $95 by calling just $3.35. 3 bet, 4 bet - it doesn't matter. It's about flopping a set which he will 11.8% of the time.

So I understand why you see it your way based on the 3 bet representing QQ+, but I think he makes a good setmine play here. Plus if you and original raiser aren't wired, he already has a small edge.

    It's debatable though.

Good to see some good poker vlogging on here though, good stuff man. Very nice setup for grinding as well.

I can see MAYBE an over call with 4's in position but in the small blind its a horrible play. Maybe one of the worst, 7's plus to call or open in SB

Your 3 bet sizing was to $3.35. It's unlikely the original raiser is going to come back over the top to isolate so the small blind calling was perfectly fine. His range in the SB is obviously going to be capped but he's getting great odds to set mine. This is a simple cooler. If you want 44 to fold preflop make your 3bet sizing bigger. He played the hand just as he should have. You can't possibly think his range is only 77+ there.

I will NEVER, NEVER, NEEEEEEEVER lay down pocket 4’s for $3.35.

Guess i don’t take penny poker serious enough...I’m willing to gamble.

If I’m willing to play blackjack at casinos where the min BJ hand is $15, I can surely afford to call a $3.35 three bet.

Could have sworn $3.35 is the same online as it is in cash. Don’t think I’ve missed the point.

It's not a donk call at all for villain given the implied odds of winning $90+ for only $3.35 given the 11.8% shot at hitting a set, and to see it any other way is simply incorrect. It wouldn't matter if the stakes were 100x as high, it's about the implied odds and percentages. About 7.5x the bb 11.8% if the set hits to very likely win 180x+ the bb (in this case he won about 90x, and it doesn't matter online vs live).

    I mean come on.

    100% standard and not close.

That being said excellent vlogging, sbr could use more vlogs by actual grinders such as sweep.

Sweep, that's a light call by him. Post-flop, hand plays itself.

To call 44 there, u need a SIGNIFICANT stack behind. Anything close to short-stack poker makes that a fold.

Can't say I've read this whole blog. But I'm pulling for u. Hope u hit it big.
