Playing .25 / .50 NLE during my down time today and ran into a doozy. Fairly loose table and if I'm 1st to bet I'm raising 2x pot. Just lost a $25 pot on a guy calling me down w 33 vs my AQ with 5 overs on the board. Have about $100 with this hand. Dealt 88 in BB. Guy UTG raises to 1.95. All folders to button (33 clown) he calls. I re raise to $7. UTG calls, button calls. Flop 833. I am very happy at this point. We go Check Check Check. Turn I don't remember. I bet $25. UTG calls, Button folds. River Jack. $81 in pot, I have about 65-70 left. I bet 40, guy raises all in. I of course call. He has 33!!!! What are the freaking odds!

hahaha that is so unlucky. I lost full house to quads last week as well. But man that is a huge pot!

Flopping a boat is 140/1 and flopping quads is 400/1 so to happen in the same hand has to be around 3000/1 or maybe more

Look on the bright side, you'll flop 2999 boats before you have to worry about this again unless you run like me, then it'll happen again tomorrow

horrible beat....Once the summer settles down i'll be on PSNJ regularly. As I said previously, 99% of free time is spent outdoors in the spring/summer. Hope to catch u at the tables in the off season Philly
