    fee

Fee means that if we are 10 person an each one put 20Dolars, if the winner win 180d, the fee is 10%
    10x20=200
    200-180=20
    20/200x100=10%

    How much is the fee?

Is there tolerance in a match of poker? If i am shy and ugly, will be respected by the other players?

Rake varies by casino, but is generally too hi.

Poker community normally takes on all-comers. Looks don't seem to matter.

In Seville, right across the street from a bull fighting arena, a restaurant was opened. It was owned by the arena bosses and mainly used bull meat from those killed during the day at the fights. Why let it go to waste, right ? Miguel, an old man from the neighborhood was there every evening, to enjoy a soup specialty made from bull's testicles.
One night, during dinner, eating his soup in quiet, Miggie realized that the testicles in the soup were way smaller than usual. It was delicious as always nonetheless,so the man kept working on his soup. But when Jose, the waiter, walked by, the old man asked him nicely : " Jose, why are so small the balls today in the soup ? "
    - Señor, once in a while, the bull wins the fight, too ...

MikeL, tips are a sore-spot for some poker-players.

I'm a recreational player, so I don't mind tipping a buck or two when I win a hand on vacation.

If I was a pro poker-player earning my $$ in the game, I'd be tempted to not tip. You're already getting whacked by the rake. I know that some players pay a nominal hourly rate + bypass tipping.

I"m surely tipping is a sore subject that will rile up different emotions for the daily player.

in poker match, is there tolerance and respect? Are there people who lose his mind and scream or hit another?
when yo win money, is safe to go out to your house? Maybe there are burglars awaiting you.

The "fee" or the rake is so important. You have to know your edge over the table and compare that to the rake to know if you're +EV in that situation. The higher the rake the lower your opponents skill needs to be.

And save the tip money for the brush. He's the guy that can get you into a good game and will be worth the money. Fkn dealers are a dime a dozen and they don't do sht to contribute to me winning like the floorman could. If a particular dealer is extra nice or I like them for whatever reason I'll throw a couple bucks their way but not every time.

99% of the time you're dealing with solid gentlemen who just want to have a good time. That 1% can be tricky when they're losing and perceive you getting lucky against them but the slightest bit of common sense is usually enough to be alright.

The second part comes down to street smarts. Always be aware of your surroundings when cashing out and getting to your transportation. If you have a large score and are truly worried about robbers request a safe box at the cashier and keep the bulk of the winnings in there. This advice is for casinos obv, if you're playing underground there's a whole new world of ways to get screwed over so it takes a huge amount of smarts.

bottom line, tip every pot you win that's of any substance.... most all players do, and you look like a real shithead if you don't.... $30-50 dollar hand, throw one white, $51 to $100, throw two, $100-200, three whites, anything more, a red.... huge pot, and you're on a heater, make it a green.....
