Question for SBR Admins. - Regarding flipping....
I know we have had lots of discussions over the years about flipping.
My understanding is that flipping is totally cool because it is all luck and SBR get's the appropriate rake.
If people flip to complete a rollover and then "even" up after, that is not cool, correct?
My answer....flipping should be banned!!!
As I have said in past, given flipping happens in real live poker, I have no real issues with it. What I do not think is OK, is the true up afterwards, that does not happen in real life.
That said, given the rollover requirements from SBR are for two reasons, 1) to create more traffic in the poker room and 2) to generate rake for SBR, I really don't care if SBR bans it.
I just wanted clarity from SBR on my question.
As you stated, SBR receives their appropriate rake. So what's the problem if flippers agree to even up & how exactly does a flipping agreement effect you?
Why would flipping be banned & why should it be banned, when we already established SBR receives their appropriate rake?
correct, if you "even up" after, its an auto ban

LOL, you are funny and sad at the same time. I am not the one protesting.
"Even up" at the end is not flipping. Its completing rollover with the absolute minimum rake with zero chance of those points going back into play.
If this is the case why pay rollover points at all. Just strip each prize 10% and pay regular points.

I hate to agree with bobby but bobby is right here. It is perfectly ok to settle up after the roll over.

Waves admitting to committing SBR crimes. A ban should happen....but I'm guessing he'll only be suspended through the this promotion.

I can't speak for POS, but PokerStars said nothing to me when I cleared a deposit bonus & settled up with my buddy that same night at Sugar & Spice gogo bar.
Hint: PokerStars doesn't place rollovers when you cash in their tourney's.

It's angle shooting and against the spirit of the promotion. But it's probably hard to justify spending more money on poker with policing such a nickle n dime thing.
To me it sucks because the points dont get played in ring table games, for the benefit of poker here long term. But I guess that happens with flipping whether there is an under the table agreement to settle up or not.
