I started off really on fire. I was up like $400,000 the first hour. I'm stuck at like $250,000 now for the year, after about a 100 hours of play. It's a pretty swingy game. It sounds bad and may sound like a lot of money, but it's really not. When you're playing $1,500/$3,000, losing $250,000 is not that hard. I'm comfortable; I'm making mistakes here and there, but overall I'm enjoying it.

Like Daniel but this is cmon man. It takes more than a couple mistakes "here and there" to lose 650k in 99 hours. Figure 25 hands/hr and we're talking -2.5BB. He needs to stick to NL tourneys and stop trying to prove himself in today's cash games.

If he was up $400,000 in an hour, losing $650,000 in 99 hours is nothing.

I would say the major swing was in the first hour.

It is something though. I agree the first hour was variance so lets say -2.5BB over a small but decent sized 99 hour sample. He's playing the best in the world so there's no shame but needs to realize he's outmatched and find some +eV games

Like my friend Mike McDermott always says "Listen, if you can't spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table then you ARE the sucker."
