    2016 SBR Poker Wish List

Since my other thread didn't go over too well a couple weeks ago.. How about a wish list of things people would like to see. Let's keep it realistic and keep bickering and bitching out. This thread is a lot more likely to get ignored if people are making outlandish suggestions or it turns into a Donk/Booby fighting thread.

Anyway, here are a few things I'd like to see:

    - The moderator more active in the poker community/forum. I'd really like if the mod was attentive to issues, didn't ignore everyone until they had to bitch and moan for 2 weeks straight to get an answer. I feel like it isn't too much to ask.

    - 10 am EST tournament returning. I would never be available to play it, but I know a lot of people want it. Right now the earliest is 3 and that usually fills to a much higher level than the other 3. There appears to be a need for an earlier tournament. I'd also be open to a late tournament instead, something like 2 or 3 AM EST. That should allow other time zones to play and would give me, and others who are up late, something to do when there's nothing else going on.

    - The return of Sit n Go's. I know they weren't popular but why remove them? If there is a way to allow rollover points for SNG's then even better. Maybe separate SNG's. One for betpoints, and one for rollover points. The winners of the rollover points SNG's then have to rollover those as well. Not ideal, but maybe would get some more activity.

    - Omaha tables all week. Why only limit them to the weekend? They're much more popular than Hold Em tables seem to be, again could help with traffic. While we're at it, why not add some limit Stud tables too. Since the software seems eerily similar to the old Bodog software, I'm sure it can run 7-card Stud and 7-card Stud Hi/Lo. Could also go with adding Razz, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if it was left off.

    - New promotions: Ditch the World Cup and allow the top 60 players to be added to a pool then have a draft for 5 teams, with the top 5 players being captains. This would be much more exciting and would prevent US players who would normally fall in the top 40 from being excluded because of their location. The WC has been done a lot, time to do something new. Even the NFL and (I think) NHL have realized that location/division restrictions aren't the best idea and moved to this format.

    - Quicker promotions: Instead of running 3-4 month promotions that just seem to drag on and on, why not run the above promotion over the course of 3 months, have a couple month long promotions, then move to another 3 monther, and so on. When you have long promotions constantly you either end up with people losing interest because they're too far out or, in the instance with the current promotion, half the field all ready has enough points to qualify so it makes the remaining 6 weeks moot.

    - Daily Entry Fee tournaments: Maybe an entry fee tournament or two that runs daily. It doesn't count toward the annual leaderboard or any promotion, but just for people to play for points. Poker is dead all day until tournaments run, then the tables fill a bit. The only time I see poker active, without tournaments running, is when Omaha is going.

    Anything else?

This is what Opti suggested after my bitching thread was deleted. I figure if we can get some good suggestions, and people agreeing on the suggestions, then we can get sam to respond.

If he doesn't then can send the thread to different mods or the SBR email to get some things done. Opti had me email them requesting the higher table limits before (back when the 1/2 used to be the highest) and then they appeared within a few hours, so let's get some agreement and good suggestions, keep the fighting to a minimum, and MAYBE we'll get some things changed to make it better and more active.

I like your list and could add a few more ideas but let's try and get a few things changed first before we go for the moon. For me, the most important things from your list would be:

    * adding an extra time slot, hopefully the 10AM EST..many of us loved that tourney

    * New promotions with shorter qualification periods

    * adding point buyin tournaments(at least 1/day)

Hand to hand play, when 13 players are left in daily tournaments.

This will help eliminate stalling on the bubble. It will also help shut up any complainers in regards to stalling.

    10-11am est tourney

Maybe 1 time a week a 50-100 pt buy in freeze out/deep stack (3000 chips) with 10-12 min levels. The tournaments now are basically tubo's that become all in shove fests after 20 minutes or so.

Make the rebuy on the weekends a 30pt buy in/ re buy instead of 100.....It would get a lot more action i am sure.

Hand to hand play on bubble.

    Proper table balancing.

Omaha / Omaha hl/l all week....There is more action there on the weekends than all week on holdem tables. Not sure why this hasnt been done already for rake reasons.

    Heads up tables.

Maybe a a quarterly high roller mixed game tournament. NLHE,Holdem,Omaha,Omaha h/l, stud, razz. Each level a new game and 15 min levels would be a great competition.

According to sam the software can only run hold em tournaments. I brought this up before.

And this is why the mods ignore the poker forum, as any thread turns into fighting and bitching. Take it to one of the other 50 threads you two are fighting in this week.

More sour grapes from Donkey. Obviously you didn't see much of tonight's tournament, after I felted your Donkey ass.

Jackass pre flop raises with his measly 6,7. Hero smooth calls with 9,9, with a post flop check raise slow roll shove, leaving Donkey with 1 chip. Jackass re-raises with his last chip chasing an open ended str8 draw, only to miss & get humiliated by my full house:

Today's 7pm tourney - Hand ID 5924693 If anyone in today's 7pm tourney wants to post the hand, feel free.

I'm not here to clutter thread. However if this Donkey troll wants to continue to embarrass himself, Waves is more than happy to oblige.

Anyone who played today's 7pm ET, feel free to address Donkey's ignorant claim that I stalled every hand.

And here comes the childish Bobby/Donk fight to make everything posted in here irrelevant and spiral it into another 3rd grade argument. You two just go make a thread in any forum you want and you can cyber battle it out there for as long as you want.

I don't start the "childish arguments" but will finish them, as evidenced in this thread.

It's not like our arguments have anything to do with Sammy ignoring you.

You didn't see me stalling every hand, as you ignorantly claimed. The hand I felted you on was a slow roll, & enjoyed every second of it.

and how could something be sour grapes for an event that hadn't even happe3ned yet, u dumb fuk?
I felted your sorry ass at 7:15pm ET, right before your ignorant post at 7:18pm. So knocking you out of the tourney happened prior to your post, proving your post was obvious sour grapes.

If you disagree, post the hand jackass.

Fact of the matter is I rarely use my time bank, unless I'm slowrolling an asshat like yourself.

You're fortunate all the suites are taken. I was looking for you at last Bash, in between all the lap dances I was receiving. But you were obviously nowhere to be found.

You say I run my time bank down every hand & I'm the liar? You do realize there are other players in my tournaments, who know your statement is a lie. I have call/fold pre selected 94.4% of the time (before my turn to act), not using time bank at all. 3% of the time I use some clock, to figure out pot odds on difficult decisions. The other 2.6% of the time I use most clock, to slow roll asshats like yourself.

So the 5.6% of the time I actually use my time bank, exactly what rule am I breaking? If I was constantly using full clock as you ignorantly claim, then why hasn't SBR brass cut my time bank in half like Eberetta?

Time bank aside, one thing for certain is my results are way better than yours. Thanks for all your chips last night. This is fact, not debatable:
