sbr's "soft"ware is just that in every sense of the word.....

It makes me soft to even think about playing poker on the site..... I'm talking the exact opposite of a raging hardon; I'm talkin' unflattering soft-on; I'm talkin' so soft that all the viagra in the State of Texas would have no effect on my junk.....

It amazes me the amount of people that bust me that end up going on to finish 1st or 2nd. Almost always knocked out with the better hand and then the winner of that hand goes on to take it down or finish runner up. Another case in point when my AQ lost last night when redrum instacalled off half his stack with KJ preflop and spiked a J on the flop.

Hell, also doubled him up early when his pocket 3's hit a set against my AK and top pair.

I agree. I was at final table yesterday, 6 left. Only had about 5k in chips so was very short stacked. Im in BB with A2 everyone folds to SB (can't remember who it was, he had about 6k in chips though) he limps so I of course go all in (want to say blinds were 400/800) guy calls me with 10Q off. Of course hits Q in river. Just not sure id risk my tourney life with 10Q but hey, what do I know

I'm not going to act like I haven't sucked out before, but any software where I feel like I'm the lucky one because I win 2 hands in a row as a 70/30+ favorite has some issues.

Many players on SBR team the propensity to play too many hands with the ability to play them badly. The result of that creates an atmosphere where more "bad beats" occur.

Being limited to 5 tournaments a week makes it difficult to overcome variance/fluctuation with volume. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

This is also compounded by the low starting chip stacks and the quickly escalating blinds. It's why I much prefer the high roller (2500 starting) or tournaments with higher starting stacks and longer blind levels. Dailies are crap shoots, for the most part. If you aren't an aggressive player, you're at a large disadvantage.

This right after you turned an 8 with your all in J 8 against my A J...i don't even complain though, I know it's cpu software but I feel like I'm an underdog if the other player has less than 3 outs which is nuts..wanted to stay sharp while I won't be able to play live for a bit but damn it changes your mindset

I agree w you though, these things are just a crap shoot, doesn't matter what you have..gotta be aggressive

Oh yes, another terrible SBR hand. You have me mauled and the board trips up for a chop. Happens way too often.

penetrating crazy that a 40% hand preflop actually wins sometimes. Have you called Dateline for a full investigation?

Pushing A2 is a fish move. Perfect example of SBR players afraid of getting outplayed after the flop

boscokid, I'm almost 100% sure I've never seen you win a hand that you didn't suck out on the turn or river after calling off 80% of your stack on a 3 outer.

The software is fine. There are just a lot of bad players here that are fine with going all-in with 25-35% equity. It stings when they hit but that's just a part of the game.

The other issue is that there are a lot of mediocre players that think they are good players. They think that they are supposed to win a high percentage of the time when they really aren't.

In essence, there are only a handful of quality players here with a high volume of hands that are ahead in the cash games.

I would venture to say there is a small percentage of players here who can't even calculate a percentage
