    2016 Challenges

I'll accept annual challenges from anyone interested, for most poker cashes in 2016.

I'll also consider annual challenges from interested players, on a case by case basis, for most poker pts earned from daily tourney's in 2016.

State if you want to wager on total cashes or total pts, & the amount you would like to bet. I'll either confirm or deny. Depending on who you are, post up may or may not be necessary.

Most cashes? Stupid. That's a sheer volume bet. Counting a 1st the same as a 12th. Dumb.

I'll go for points, if you'd like, but no interest in posting up and keeping whatever amount of points tied up for 365 days. I finished 2015 with 7055, FYI.

I know you were gung ho about wanting to do a 2015 challenge with me when I was 4-5k behind all ready. So are you still interested now that it's back to 0-0? Let me know odds and the amount. I'd be willing to do up to 15k.

What's stupid is your rationale. The same volume of tourney's is available to the both of us, if you chose to get your priorities str8. Fact is, you know there's no shot against me in annual cashes, as I'm in the top 2 every year I played.

Yes, I'm still interested in annual pts wager. Unfortunately you don't qualify for non post up, due to your character & tendency to leave this site for extended periods of time. I'm willing to do a 5k bet if you can solicit a 3,425 loan somehow, before we play a tourney on New Year's Day.

If interested, we will both post up 5k with Mr. Yisman.

Figured you'd dodge it but thought I'd see if you were dumb enough to take a bet you can't win.

Clearly accepted. Since you're obviously not willing to solicit a loan, we can post up 1,500 each.

Just took out a 12k loan from Fidel earlier (so much for my questionable character). Used that and 9k of my own points to hit up the store.

Never stiffed, run contests here, run fantasy leagues here. No issues. Hell, I've even taken bets with you (without posting up) and had no issues with payouts.

I'm not tying up points for a year that could be put to better use in that time frame. While it would be fun to laugh at you next year, I can do that after I beat you anyway.

Soliciting a 12k loan to use for store instead of just using your own pts, demonstrates your irresponsibility. Owing 12k + interest as you do, is just another reason why post up is necessary when dealing with you.

Tying up 1,500? You losing interest or something?

Who are you kidding? You would lose that same 1,500 in casino or sportsbook anyway.

I don't go to the casino and I've never seen you anywhere near the top of any handicapping contest. The loan was useful as it allowed me to get some deals from Amazon before they expire. I could have paid my own money, but why? No point in hoarding points and never using them. I made 17k in a month, 3k in interest won't be an issue and was more than covered by the sales.

Not interested in the yearly challenge but out of curiosity how many cashes did you have for 2015? 92 here. Wondering if any one actually cracked 100.

pretty sure the consistently solid gary dn tallied the most cashes; followed by the consistently cashing waves; anyone with more would've probably been on the yearly leaderboard, unless he placed almost entirely 10th-12th.....

and recall the first promo of 2015 paid out only 1st to 5th, i believe, which is part of the reason I took command over waves, and lead 360 out of the 365 days of 2015. even once waves crawled back into the contest, and managed to overtake the lead on three or four separate occasions, those instances lasted only a day or so, as I was quickly able to put a smackdown on waves, with a substantial cash to erase his extremely short-lived leads.......

I finished in the top 10 of it a couple years ago (7th I believe). The $900 I received is a tad more than your $28.

Keep trolling, I'll just ignore you. You're too scared to take a bet with me, so no need to visit this thread any longer.

The only trolling going on here is you. I created this thread for my 2016 challenges. You obviously don't want any part of Waves & for good reason. So you can either accept one of my challenges, or go find another thread to troll in.

waves still showing some bravado and fight!!!

Good luck waves, in whatever challenges you happen to ink......

and congrats to you on your second place finish last night..... I'd have been at the final table with you but for getting hit with a two outer after I'd cracked aces with 55 (flopping a set, check it to downsouth, he jams, I call, next card out an ace...... he runs so good....lol).

and congrats to runtigger on the win!

and lastly, happy new year's to all!

Total cashes is a meaningless stat as the goal is to win the most cash/points. How many cashes it takes you to get there means nothing more than you took a greater amount of time to achieve a lesser result. You finsihed 20 some odd cashes ahead of me in 2015 and finished below me on the leaderboard. And while your game has actually improved some of the past year or so if you tweeked it a little more and quit worrying about the meaningless stat of number of cashes you could easily win substantially more points than you do now with the volume you play. Ask anyone that has actually played the game for real which is a more important indicator.

So if your willing to put 5k into contest for stat that means nothing why only 1k on total points won the goal is to win points not participate. Only thing I can think of is your really not all that confident in your ability to win even with the substantial number more of tourneys you will be compared to me.

Fact of the matter is, my priority has always been cashing 1st, win 2nd. I'll go for the win after I'm in the $, as winning is just an added bonus to me.

My strategy is both evident & proven successful. Top 2 in daily cashes & top 15 in daily pts won, every year I played.

Who says I don't play poker? I don't play every minute of every day, have other priorites/things I'd rather do. Funny you call me and others broke dikk, yet you're always the one calling others out only to duck challenges. And with every post you further cement the fact that you're still a tool. I said it, never saw you on the poker table. Looks like you need to get your priorities str8 chump.

Why would I duck a challenge, when I created this thread looking for challenges.

How about an annual poker challenge for your remaining 451 pts broke dikk?

Astro and DownSouth, there's 2 in this thread alone, much less all the others. And I'm the chump because my priorities don't include playing poker every day all day all year? Sounds like you need to get out of house more often. Regarding your challenge, you have a better chance getting me to fly to Jersey and whipping your ass than playing volume poker for a year.

When I do play poker it's for cash, fukhead.

I clearly accepted Astros challenge here numbnuts: Confirmed, & DS is on the hook if you don't come...
DS not interested in my challenge terms. You're just a pussy for ducking my challenge, with your measly 451 pts.

Unlike you, I'm retired & have all kinds of time. I even have time to pick you up from Philly airport, so you can try to make good on your threat. No hard feelings after kicking your ass, you can join my home game & I'll fleece you from what little $ you have left.

It's been explained to him many times, but when life has dealt him such a terrible hand, I guess he's gotta cling to the few things he has left and convince himself they're advantages. Claiming that winning the most points one year is meaningful but that it's not the following year is idiotic, but thankfully it's the entertaining kind of idiotic that provides well over half of the entertainment this forum has to offer

When we have a challenge one year & no challenge the next year, then obviously only 1 year is meaningful.

But if it makes you feel better Tripe, congrats on winning diddly squat last year.

Do which one, most cashes or pts?

Guess it doesn't matter, since you can only transfer 2/day.
