SBR Poker's WSOP Standings as of 02/15

Well after 5 days and running thru the weekend, looks like the top 5 players in the SBR WSOP qualifying tournaments haven’t deviated at all:

Top spot still belongs to JAKEPEAVY21 followed by, stevek173 bring up 2^nd place, AutoDonk
following in close 3^rd, shane in 4^th, and ArunSh coming in at 5^th place.

Way to go guys!

It looks like my old buddy sinmiedo is starting to make a run for it with a major jump from 51^st all the way up to 17^th as of yesterday.
If I was a wager man I believe that putting money on this horse is a lock.

wining this is not an easy one for any of us, however the format some how benefit aggressive play,and i m kind of a bit aggressive in my game, as well as bitemyususdoj Rua,tripled, mpascal ,downsouth,rudy, zac, Arun, and few more, Jake is the player to beat for his skills and patience. he has nothing to prove and i would be glad if he wins the seat for the wsop, or any one with a proven record.

thank you for the kind words sin...I do not believe I'm the player to beat or the best player here at sbr, as many of you seem to think. I think I'm in the middle to bottom half of the top 10. There are a lot of very good tournament players here, including yourself and many of the names you mentioned. Hopefully someone worthy wins the seat.

out of a couple hundred players, it is pretty impossible to try and rank... more than a handful probably just play super bad/crazy on dailies because they don't care, or because they're laying in the weeds to ambush people with another style for the big ones.

why would someone play their best in a game for $20? it would make more sense to play horribly but still make the standings, and then change things up with a good read on how everyone else is going to play you...

so i cringe when i read stuff about "someone deserving" winning, who knows what is going on behind the scenes. mikejamm could be phil ivey for all anyone knows

A few things beyond dispute here: sin's rise was all but guaranteed, JP plays better than even he gives himself credit for (which might not be the same as being the best player, but close enough for here)....and last but not least, sammy kickin ass with the updates

many top pros are completely broke, the value of their time was almost always in free buyins/book sales/sponsor deals, not in their poker edge (perceived or otherwise).

phil ivey's time is most valuable when he's cheating
