Lol, sorry guys just been having fun. Up and down at the tables, drinking a bit and and saw a show last night.

The crew played in two tourneys yesterday, one at mgm and we won it. We played another at Mandalay Bay and I got to just short of the money... Don't want to bore you with the bad beat story but it ugly.... :-(

I think Boeingpower left last night on the read eye. Cool to meet up with him.

Sinmiedo is busy giving and getting lessons at the tables and I think having a good time to. He won a queen night straight flush bonus at Mandalay Bay last night which was cool.

So, final trip update as we got back this morning on the red-eye.

In summary,

1 - The group I played with (4 of us because Sinmeido decided to play it alone) we played in small tourneys in the Luxor (I chopped it up with the top 4 players), MGM (one of my crew chopped it with an extra $100 for him as the big stack) and lost in the Mandalay Bay and Excaliber tourney.

2 - Sinmeido won (outright) the Excaliber tourney. This was a hyper-turbo tourney....

3 - We all played in the Binions Sunday Deepstack ($125) tourney. >150 people/rebuys....Good tourney but it was challenging...Sinmeido rebought but made it the longest of the crew (around 50th spot).

4 - We spread our play in a bunch of different rooms for cash, Planet Hollywood (action room, up), MGM (tough room, down lots), Mandalay Bay (tough room, about even, maybe down), Luxor (soft room, down), Excaliber (soft room, up), Flamingo (soft room, Up), Ballys (good room, down), Golden Nugget (tough room, down) and Caesars (very tough room, even).

5 - Played lots of low limit craps and lost a bunch of money but had a blast. (played until about 5:30am one night and we were the attraction of the Luxor casino at that hour)

6 - Played some $5 blackjack and lost....

7 - Had a blast eating at the Heart Attack Grill (had a Double Bypass, barely).

8 - Saw Ka and Zumanity. Ka was good, Zumanity was better.

9 - Went to the Mob Museum at the Tropicana, was a lot of fun. Our group got whacked at the end, one of crew decided to get cute with the cop and spoke French, we are pretty sure he ratted us out.... :-)

10 - Drank a lot of Beer and booze....

Thanks Guys, the trip was a blast.

Opti, I was down $$ for the trip. The last couple of days, I did end up making some $$ back but I was still down for the trip. It is the age old thing with poker players and gamblers, if I was a little luckier and better at the game, I would have been up significantly. But the reality of my luck and ability made it opposite to that.

I comfort myself by this. In all of the sessions where I lost (except one where I was dead to two cards), there were big pots where I put my money in good and the villain drew out on me.

If I had more patience and a better memory, I would list the situations so that the people who think online poker is rigged would see some of the crazy shit I have seen this trip, live.....

go to bellagio and venetian they are good rooms. MGM grand is a bunch of crazy europeans that suck at poker and stuff it in with anything. they are awful. the 5/10 at bellagio is a joke. its like a 1/2 nl game in atlantic city. the 5/10 in AC is MUCH tougher than the 5/10 at bellagio. play it. you should do well it's an easy game despite being semi high-limit. 10/25 is much tougher don't play that unless you are experienced and can sit with 5grand. there's no max in that game and people sit with 20,000.

go see O at bellagio (cirque show). it is AMAZING. O is the best show in town. it is really that good. get good seats though. if you have shitty seats it ruins experience. sit lower level. it is expensive but is worth every penny. the show is THAT GOOD. seriously. go see it. ive seen it twice. purely amazing.

I do not play the big games like you, only 1-2.

I thought the MGM room was run the best with the best overall dealers that I have seen lately but I ran ice cold in the 3 sessions I played there. The dealers were especially friendly to everyone, it was real nice. The players were average in my opinion.

I played the 1-3 at Caesars but I really did not like it at all. The players were all deadly serious aggro massive stacks and whined and bitched whenever they lost a pot. The dealers seemed very friendly with the regs so you felt like you were out of the loop.

I played at Bellagio a bit last year and I liked it but I also think the general player was better than average.

The reason I liked Planet Hollywood was because they had a pretty well run room and most of the dealers were good and friendly. The player mix was also very good, lots of opportunity to make money against them. Not a lot of solid regs so they were easier to avoid.

Ya, I saw O in June. The only cirque shows I have not seen is Criss Angel Believe, Michael Jackson One and Zarkana.

My favourite one is The Beatles Love show.
