Last Two final tables.... Cake Network

    These are both preflop....

I have AK hearts and this person raises 1500, I have 6000, So I push all-in.... He calls with A3 offsuit (half of his stack)... He gets a damn flush with his 3 of diamonds, I had a pair with kings.

And more recently... Blinds were 200 and 400... I had 3000 in my stack, well only one person had called 400, so I push all-in with KQ offsuit, well the only person to call, call's my all-in which was a little over half his stack with 79 clubs... He hits two pair 7 and 9....

Does this happen as frequently at live tourney's? Just a question lol

lol what is your reasoning behind this?

Bad beats and coolers are part of variance. It happens online and live at the exact same frequency, maybe even less online since you are nut subject to having rigged decks and collusion with dealers ect.

You play 10hours of live its 300 hands if your lucky. You plan 10 hours of online 1 table thats 800-900 hands, 4 table thats 3.4k + and increases as you add on more tables. So obv in the same time frame you will see more bad beats online, but simply because you are in more situations in the same timeframe. You will as an individual, cooler and suck out on people online alot more than in live, due to the same variance but everyone always seems to forget when they do the bad beats lol

oh the same old argument if you play more hands you get more bad beats. Guess what.. you get more non bad beats too so that evens out.

I'm not really complaining about the bad beats, but more the terrible play of people... I'm just baffled at some of the calls and push to all-ins I see online, next question.... Are there as many bad calls? Or bad play at live poker?

No live play people are afraid to do things like that because they can't hide behind their computers. People at the table start saying things to people like that usually

Whats wrong with people playing terrible online? lol the more terrible plays they make the more monies you win. So if you are playing poker to actually win, you would wana play with people that make really stupid mistakes

I've played plenty of 1/2 live tables that were far worse than your average 25nl. If you aren't noticing bad play live either it's time to change tables, your table selection sucks, or you're the mark.

danes right live players are way worse then online players for the most part, at least in cash games.

ive seen my share of monkeys in tournaments though online.

Not sure why I'm bumping this again but... you can argue that 25nl is tougher than 50nl or 100nl on some sites now. There's so many tag/nit grinders and short stackers playing 25nl. Also, playing on sites with sportsbooks like 5Dimes/Bovada, there's the riverboat gambler coming out of the sportsbook or casino to funnel money into poker. When they play, they aren't usually playing 25nl. Places like 5Dimes that rake the hell out of 25Nl, you almost have to play flawlessly without rakeback to make anything in the long run.

Yup I agree that $25NL on some sites is tougher and more reg filled than $50NL, the amount of rake bb/100 is also significantly higher than at $50NL. Since the rake to stack ratio is much smaller at $50NL.

But if you can crush $25NL online, you can most def crush $1/$2 live , prob the same hourly about, so not worth playing $1/$2 live with the absurd rake they collect on the games.
