Hellmuth wins 12th WSOP bracelet
in the $2500 Razz event...like him or hate him the guy is a great tournament poker player...last year he finished 2nd in 3 events at the WSOP looking for his 12th bracelet, I'm happy for him.
At the same time Hellmuth was heads up for the bracelet, so was Phil Ivey in the 10k Pot limit Hold em event, but he finished 2nd to Andy frankenberger.
I don't hate on Hellmuth either. Ya, he's a baby some of the time, but that seems like show. A lot of people say he's a good guy off the felt, and that he helps out a lot of players that go broke. The dude can play.
I have to say that on some of the TV cash games Hellmuth gets majoryly fukked. Just some of the worst bad beats I have ever seen.

Anyone hear how the cash games are doing at this WSOP? Sometimes you hear some good stories.
cool, I definitely root for him because we have a similar playing style and I like when he bitches.
Plus, I always hated how Chan and Brunson had so many bracelets but won them when the playing field was less than 100 players, and Phil has won quite a few in the last few years.

Can you just imagine ! How hard is it to win one of our games ? Then look at what he has done on that stage ! Great player ! Just needs some tape on his lips....
He has the patience of a tree stump a solid weapon in poker....However when you have 12 bracelets I think you are entitled to come to the table and act however the hell you want to act. I've seen a lot worse here for points at least when he is crying about something it probably has about 6 0's behind it with 5 0's to even get into it.
He reminds me of a rage quiter in those online video games.
Hellmuth is chip leader and Ivey 3rd in chips at final table of the 10k HORSE...

Hellmuth had some pretty good mini melt downs
Monnette would be betting his flush draws and gut shot and get there when Hellmuth had big made hands. After the hand he would stand up in bewilderment holding his cards with the blank stare at them while telling Monnette how bad he is.
Yup, some fun Hellmuthian meltdowns.
