5dimes uses Poker bots to screw you? Check this out.

I was playing heads up at 5dimes and I kept getting horrific beats against what I thought was the same person.

After a while it just got ridiculous. They would call me with anything and crack whatever hand I had. Runner runner. Hitting gut shots. Calling all-ins with King 10 when I had aces and hitting straights, ect.

I looked at the finished tables and noticed a group of names that kept finishing first. Then I noticed it was actually different names.

    VE5539
    VE10483
    VE23740

All of the names started with VE but ended with some random numbers. Are there any known bots there? I feel like I'm getting scammed in these heads up games.

Why so many names that are similar playing at the same time? Why do they always seem to suck out? And why were they first at every heads up table?

    Seems very fishy.
I was up thousands at Pokerstars before they quit accepting US players. I know how to play.

If you were to make a few bots why would you make their names so similar?
Why would you have more bad beats playing a bot than a regular person?

If this is on Bookmaker's network (I think they are on the same yatahay network) it is probably users who didn't pick screen names when sitting up there account (for example I've seen CRXXXX or BKXXXX when playing through Bookmaker's skin)...

a month or so ago I had this same issue and could swear that if they werent bots then they were communicating. I talked to people here filed a complaint spent money playing and loosing to the bots to get info, there are way to many 5dime backers out there and this place wont say anything to them ever cause they are one of top sponsors. So my only advice is realize you got screwed and just dont use them no more.

I tried chatting with them. None of them responded.

If it's just a generic name I could understand. Can anyone verify this?

I just find it extremely weird none of them would chat and they were constantly sucking out and winning.

I mean, when I look at five finished tables and the name in first place is

    VE2215
    VE12439
    VE48583
    VE7321
    VE1432

Something is stange. Also, I've never noticed two of these names playing at the same table. If it was generic, you would think you would run across the names playing against each other.

Did you see Empire's response? He said that it is probably a South American skin so quite possible they don't speak English.... I bet if you directed your questions to 5dimes you would get a more exact response...

Just played another one of these VE accounts. Lost to them three times.

Lost pre-flop all-in first game. I had Aces. They called with King 8. Hit a set of kings.

Second game I have ace king. I raise, they call. Clop comes King 10 3. I raise, they go all in. I call, they have 10 9. Next card is a 9 I lose.

Third game, I'm winning the entire time. They go all in, I have queens. They have 5 7. They flop a straight, I end up losing.

I'll keep you guys posted I seriously hope this is just a coincidence.

Winning poker network skin from venezuela

5dimes poker is on the winning poker network. It is in fact the same network as bookmaker and a couple other sportsbooks as well as poker only sites like America's cardroom and true poker. The VE prefix on the names is from a skin/affiliate in Venezuela.

The real problem with this network is they rake the lower stakes games and add BBJ. It makes it harder to win in the long run. Essentially the same thing as extra vig in a sportsbook.

Yeah I had the same thing a few weeks ago in one of the tournaments I played in on that site. I actually went to live chat and asked and never got a response that was suppose to be emailed to me. Though after talking with other players about it in the same tournament I guess it is exactly what others are saying and these players are from Venezuela. If these players just sign up and don't choose a name they get the Vexxxxx poker handle. So that is the case here.

I was thinking about playing poker on 5dimes, but I don't think I am going to risk it anymore. Thanks for the heads up.

You've got to love the people who decide to drink the kool-aid without any thought to the 17 people who have posted between the OP and their post...
