I've learned you have to adjust to the system, Hurls. Being more conservative has worked for me. Pocket queens was getting killed yesterday. Must have lost 6 out of 9 times when I played. What you have, can sometimes be an illusion.

the big hands don't always win. QQ will lose a lot of the time, but only if you let people catch.
as far as i'm concerned, if you're all in, you pretty much lose with the best hand more often than not, just trying to find the passion to load all my hands into VBA and perform tests on them and see how often I lost when the pct was highly in my favor all in.

Hurls was beaten in the mean-streets of Boston a couple of months ago. Ever since these fisticuffs, his brain has malfunctioned, causing him to to have selective memory with the poker bad beats. He only remembers the ones performed on him, and conversely, the ones he gives he has no recollection.

Went all in with about 5000 chips in tourney today pocket queens. Called guy had pocket 10s with about same amount of chips. Flop 10 2 2 of course oh well got 13th tonight. It happens oh well.
