Live Poker Ledger App for Android. Highly recommend. This screen grab is the 2 sessions i've played at SH since i downloaded the app. I will be using this to track my live play. Hoping to have a few trips to AC in this thread as well. Cheers

Your above "screen grab" only shows a negative sign, it doesn't show how much you lost.

Did some experimenting with a rabbit cam..unfortunately none of the hands were playable. Not sure what the policy is on recording so I was trying to do on the sneak. Im probably heading over there again Friday so i'll try to get some better vids up.

Sweeper, good luck, pal. Our boy Ballerholic did a pretty good job of summarizing results:

* Would be cool if u would show things like Results and how much Players are losing to Rake. Would also be cool if u compared results for different games/limits.

Sweep how have you been doing on Poker Stars? Think I have deposited a hundy, have withdrawn twice already ($500 - $350) and have about $180 in my account now strictly playing .25/.50. Been some very easy tables during the day

Nothing good to report online so far this year....Not sure if Im paying poorly or just running bad. Maybe a mix of both.

Sweeper, thx for the SHouse post. That sort of feeds into the 2 items I'm trying to present:

1) Poker-rake is a bitch. Trying to overcome the rake is a perpetual bitch. It's really too high, relative to the pot. And the dealer looks at u funny if u don't tip even on a SMALL pot.

2) What about the element of game-selection and specialization? I try to find 1 or 2 games that I'm comfortable playing. I enjoy 6-max No-Limit tournaments. Gets me away from full-ring and spots where I am playing dumb in early-position.

One basic concept about playing Poker. The top-players do this the best:

* How do you adjust to your opponent?

The most obvious adjustment...Does Villain bluff? The adjustments are pretty obvious:

1) If he's a straight-fwd player (and most ARE)...u don't pay off on 2nd pair. He's not bluffing.

2) If a Villain bluffs a lot...you have to call-down lighter. He might be bluffing. Take a good look at a poker-board and how the cards run out. By the time u get to river, there normally aren't THAT MANY value-hands.

All I see for the screen grab is a gray circle with a white minus symbol on it.

Also, am I the only person who doesn't play with their chips when playing live?

-Chucky: Don't really have a favorite poker player but I tend to root for the older guys and against the math wiz kids. If I had to choose an all time fav it would be Amirillo Slim. First poker book I ever read was about him and it has kind of stuck with me. Great stories in that book. "Amirillo Slim in a world full of fat people" is the title of the book. Check it out.

I don't, aside from the occasional restacking...never learned even the simplest chip shuffling tricks. I often wonder if it's easier to have a controlled fidget than just trying to stay still/act natural, but never cared enough to practice.

I think a big shit eatin grin whilst lookin em straight in the eye, gets more reaction from the other player (or puts them off) than most things you can do.

Not that I care too much about tells either.

Thread Update: 4-6-2017

So i have not updated in almost a week and unfortunately I have nothing good to report.

We booked a small win on the 31st of March: +$62 over about 5hrs of play. Today was a disaster. Got to Sugar House around 1:30pm. Was really feeling good, had a good nights sleep, 45min workout in the morning, solid breakfast. Put a small matchup play in for the Masters opening round then headed over the bridge to Sugar House.

I was 6th on the list when I arrived (should have called in) but not soon after they opened a new 1-2 table.

We were in for the max, $300 (150 big blinds). Started off well, was up about $80 after a few go rounds.

New player sits 3 to my left who ive seen before and this is when things go south quickly.
