Poker for International players

Dear SBR management:
In recent weeks many of the sport cash sponsors offered at the SBRstore have closed their poker rooms, leaving poker players without options to redeem the hard earned points.
This situation plus the requirements of SBR to only redeem the points on accounts open via the links the company provide, further reduced the options we have.
I also noticed some players that no longer participate due to this circumstance, and, in the future, player will have less options for renew their Pro status.
5 dimes and Bet DSI are the companies that discontinue the poker rooms,were the option I had , since my Bodog account was opened before I join SBR, I wish I could open a new one via your link but Bodog will not allow it, however, the store no longer has Bodog sport cash available, the only options left are The Greek, Sport Interaction( both share the same poker network ) and Bookmaker, 5 Dimes has a poker room with very low traffic as many of us had recently pointed out.
Is there any possible way to get new sponsors for this poker sub-forum community? or flex some of the rules for non sport bettors, as I can only see in the near future further erosion of the international players.

Why can't Canadians get pizza gift cards etc?

We used to have that option but when USA could no longer do sportsbook bonuses, SBR took away every other option but bonuses for Canada. Makes no sense, pizza is still legal here.

SBR really needs to work on getting some more sportsbook bonus sponsors as well. The list keeps getting shorter, and none work for me. A couple should but SBR tells me I must not have signed up properly. But I did because I got the extra sign up bonuses.

If I have no options left to use the betpoints, why renew my pro status?

It would be nice to have more options for Sportsbook Cash in the SBR store. Maybe Bet365 since they already sponsor some contests here for a start. I would also like to see poker centric-sites and maybe fantasy sites like they used to have.

If the US got it's act together and stopped being so damn hypocritical about gambling, it's likely none of this would be an issue.

I'm sure it's something SBR cares about and is working on to some extent, but who knows how much incentive there is. It would be nice if SBR could at least implement across-the-board points-for-bash perks, but without knowing about any of the logistics involved, it's hard to be too critical.

The problem is real though, hope there's a solution in the works...don't want to see the quality international players go away.

I believe that you are correct.so far no intention to correct the imbalance, for whatever the important reason it may be and I think it must be one we do not know.
I would like the store to be balance with sport cash or gift cards or other perks like the USA .
I remember the original SBR store where we all were treated as equal.

I originally signed up at Justbet to go Pro, but after redeeming lots of points to sportsbook cash they wouldnt allow me to get anymore. Then I had to signup through Betonline to go Pro, but SBR doesnt offer sportsbook cash to Betonline. So I cant redeem my points for anything.

I cant really complain. Over the years I have gotten an Ipad and a lot of cash at Justbet. But it would stille be nice if us international users had some of the options that american users have. Or in my case it would be nice if I had any option.

Because I have pre- existing accounts at most. Signed up at most long before I heard of SBR or Betpoints. SBR no longer allows cash bonuses unless you signed up through their affiliate links.

Some I signed up through SBR but the book has since closed the account.

Some I signed up through SBR and got bonuses but SBR says now that I did not.



BetDSI - signed up through SBR, received extra SBR sign up bonus, SBR now says I did not sign up through their link.

SIA, 5Dimes - signed up through SBR, accounts now closed.

Bodog - cash bonus no longer available in the store.

My only option left, to make use of my points, is the extra sign up at Sportsbetting. Which I plan to do. That's 10 points. No subsequent cash bonuses available for them.

SBR seems to think so.

They stopped allowing sportsbook bonuses for Americans because that's pretty much illegal in the US. At the same time they took away gift cards for Canada.

Pokerpoints can only be rolled in the poker room. Sports freeplays can only be rolled in the sport book.
