    Ignition casino, sorry.

Most likely so they can come in the us market if poker gets legalized, looks the same as bovada.

giving some kind of bonuses it looks like. 1000% CASINO deposit bonus and 100 dollar "drip" bonus for poker only.

the poker bonus, you deposit 100, get 400 poker points in 30 days, you get 100 bucks, it comes out in different levels

Bovada was a payout machine that's stood the test of time. Not sure how I feel about the change in that regard

I wonder what this will do to the player pool. You won't have that sports book to attract casual bettors to go punt $50-$100 in poker. I bet the low to mid micro stakes will take a hit

Which was a lot of Bovadas action if I remember correctly. Part of whole reason they went anonymous was so the casual bettor would not be bum hunted every time he sat.

Ignition is just a Bovada skin, software is identical and so is the ownership. They're just separating the poker players from the rest of their players and reducing the ease at which their long time sports bettors and casino players were dumping too much money to poker players. They'd rather the sports and casino players lost their money slowly directly to them instead of poker players taking it, and then all the poker players asking for withdrawls all the time (which costs them money in processing and was overloading their processors). This way, all the decent poker players will now beat each other up and they'll collect the rake while their sports and casino players will lose to Bovada directly instead. By separating them, there is no easy transfer of accounts, so if a square deposits $500 into Bovada, he can't lose it to poker players, he'd have to make a separate deposit to Ignition which he is unlikely to do.

Sucks for us poker players, but it doesn't come as a big surprise.

Bovada was kind of the last bastian a casual player or non-grinder in the US could play cash games and make money. That's probably gone if you take out the fish pipeline the sportsbook had funneling them into the poker room. It's going to be very tough playing on tighter anonymous tables with a 4 table max and no rakeback.

Online Ring games in the US are dead unless you're a beast and can grind out a ton of volume in a rake race or good enough to play 100nl and above (and I'm not sold those games won't be affected by the loss of the sports book too). I guess time will tell. It looks like for now online poker in the US is a SNG/MTT game. I'm probably done with it until/IF it becomes legalized

I m wondering how long before Bodog ends up the same way.
For the time been I have been told that it will continue but it is a possibility that they will also change ownership.

I agree with what everyone has said so far.

Once this bonus goes and September 30 passes, it will be just poker players on ignition. I had a guy yesterday at .5/1 zone poker limp shove 62bbs from the small blind when i had kk in the big blind with aj (lost of course), but you wont see that happen anymore.

Anyways, I just got off the phone with them and they had to manually add my first 50 dollars of the poker bonus. Agent said they were having a problem with the software, just to call if you have the sufficient points for 24 hours.
