If I have 850 pending points for rollover. Is it allowed to find a pro to give you like 750 points and you just fold your 850 to them at the table? Are there rules on points?

First off it's not real poker it's pretend poker, real poker Must have all participants
putting up money in some forum, be it cash in a cash game or a cash buy into a tourny or satelite.

All pros have to do is register there is no fee and you cannot actually lose anything you had before.
also there is no gain to be had but your name on a list which allows you to play one day 6 months from now
with 100 others for one spot and the world cup is worse as you're playing for points..in actuality guys who can play everyday will do better then anyone else.

Here its not about the best or very good players its about the time you put in.

Here it's more about a poker community and having some fun with the boys while your playing..it's not about the money and real poker must be about the money.

i've been here 10 years way before the betpoints were here and i do get information out of this site
which helps me make plays or not make plays(sportsbetting) so i do have a reason for logging in and being here
although i'm not a sbr pro. never can have enough information and this site does offer me information when it comes to betting
so i hang out a bit for those reasons.
Jake i'll be in Niagra Falls for the WPT events in 3 weeks stop on by and lets play for real and have a beer.

I s my goal to make the satellite.
Unfortunately I had suffered a big loss ,and not emotionally ready. As you can read in some of my posts before last week, I was obsessed to play the wpt . but due to this unforseen event that destroy me emotionally, I may pass this one.
However, it my intention to go to the playground, and stay there for a week , and finally playbsome hands.
For the time being ,I only play casino rama every week, but if you are at Niagara, let me know and for sure I will be there.

I don't feel like I'm off base at all. There are more benefits to be had for a mere $100 and going PRO.

I live in Vegas and play live multiple times weekly and play here for fun and because I enjoy the poker community here. I've met some really good people through the site and I'll argue that there are a lot of skilled tournament players here (you are in that group).

Even if one only plays one tournament a week, they should be able to get a few hundred dollars in gift cards just by rolling over points.

Niagra Falls is a bit of a hike for a beer and last thing I want to do is travel back east right now with the weather. Let me know if you ever make it down to the left coast.

sorry to hear about your setback buddy

When my head is twisted, and I'm emotionally down, I stop playing until my head is straight again.

Too many times I've lost a big chunk of money and then I'm in chase mode and not happy booking smaller wins..I want it all back and then end up playing poorly or throwing away money. I've gotten a lot better over the years but you have to know and be honest with yourself. If your head is messed up, it's probably a good idea not to play until you get in a better mindset.

i doubting your statement that there are many skilled players here and good guys..i know that.

I played here regularly for quite awhile and enjoyed the play and most of the players but for me being
in Canada i don't believe gift cards apply(not available)plus a lot of time is needed to put in for at the very best
a minimal gain as i see it.

Where you are off base is your comment "there is no point to be on the site if your not a pro" this is
a very short sighted view considering all the site has to offer.

As a non pro i can use the sbr odds and matchups,track the few sharp guys here in the subforums,track the guys
i deem good fades,get entertained at times by some of the clowns in PT,use the calculators they make available
to do comparisons on payouts.

Your comment is like saying there is no reason to be on any gambling site that doesn't have a pro program,(ALL OF THE OTHERS) that would mean you wasted many many years at Kens place when it was his place.

Pros and non-pros aren't able to play at the same cash table. You will get an error if you try to join. Non-pro is labeled "Public". Pro tables are labeled, well, "Pro only".

I've gotten a lot better over the years but you have to know and be honest with yourself. If your head is messed up, it's probably a good idea not to play until you get in a better mindset.

under this rationale/strategy, i should stay away from the game entirely.....
