wsop seat went well last year (cabo's tax problems notwithstanding)..... was fun following the winner's efforts in vegas, generated some noise for SBR, so hopefully we'll do it again

if,.... is the WSOP i think that the top 10 players should make a final game with strong structure.
Having a field of 1500 after a long 4 month of qualifying, takes away good SBR players that never make the cut.
Also, it would be nice to send 2 players, meaning the 2 winners having them pay out 1/2 of the buy in so SBR will have more exposure.

Top 60 Get in, Top 4 from qualifying are captains. Highest score from promo period picks first as captains pick teams of 12 using snake draft format. Remaining 12 that are not picked are put on team named the Rejects or whatever other clever name someone comes up with. This can be done in a single thread and drawn out over a few days if neccesary. Draft choices must come from the pool of players. Can be altered if you want to be inclusive of more players.

12 tournaments daily starting at noon and running every hour with each tourney having one person from each team represented. Scoring as follows, 1st- 4points, 2nd-3points, 3rd-2points, 4th=1point and 5th- 0 points because honestly if you come in last you should probably receive. Run the tournaments for 5 days and at end of period award prizes. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th with last place team again receiving nothing as well, you know, there last.

If you want to add a variable element to this then keep track of the top 150 or so and allow the captains to have 1 wildcard each from the overall top 150.

I'm OK with wsop or the triathlon again. I would rather have something like other sports (nhl, soccer, baseball) be part of it instead of blackjack.

100 players in the final is 2 many. I would prefer 10 instead of 100, 50 max. If you do 100 chip stacks need to be staggered.

This.. c'mon SBR. The World Cup is broken when you have someone making it for Canada that played 3 tournaments.

I agree, I didn't play for 2 and a half months yet still placed in the top 100 and started with the same stack as people who played every single day.

From the business side, they want more people to be intersted and sign up. So we likely won't see a decrease in entries into the final tournament...but you can format it so that it rewards those who put time into it and are seeded higher.

This has historically been triathlon or World Cup time.

So SBR should pay MORE, force whoever wins to either pay the other 5k or forfeit their spot, and not get a cut of any winnings?

They don't have to stagger chips for the final if they bring back satellites. Let 25 in, let the next 25 spots be filled by the next 75 players.

I think itd be cool if they gave out a bunch of spots to smaller wsop events myself. 5 of the 1500 events.
