I was excited to download the software. How come no one is ever on? I'm new to the poker on here and don't understand why no one is ever playing. Omaha only on the weekends? WTF... I mean why do they make it a privilege to play omaha just on the weekends? I understand that a lot of you don't trust software to be legit as I have read in most of the forums. I just don't get why they would rig poker on here. I'm really not any good but enjoy playing. I don't give a shit if I have AA, KK, QQ or whatever cracked every time. I believe that is just poker and the cards fall where they may. I'm sorry but I don't blame suck outs on the software. Variance will happen and the longer you play the more you will see your good hands hold up. I've played a ton of live and the same shit happens as most you would would testify if you play live.
Are the ring games ever any good?

#3People usually just play tables when they're clearing rollovers. Not many will risk actual points that they've already cleared because they can use them in the Sportsbook and Casino.Comment -

#6C'mon pal... I've been there plenty of times to relieve you of your points.
If you know how to play poker, one eagerly buys-in with real points, as it's an easy way to make more.
Lots more.
But as slanina correctly states, few here do that... which answers many questions about the Big Picture state of SBR poker in and of itself.
pboozer: If the right peeps are around, a good ring game can be found here. Peek in late evenings, your best chance usually....Comment -

#7And pboozer is correct; the whiners confirm they have played very little poker, especially live.
Otherwise they'd know what happens here is typical poker shit.Comment -

just a "tad".....
on a more serious note, playing a good ring game with biter, big orange, garydn, shogonrua, astros, mpas, ttaddy, millertime, ballerhollic and certain others is enjoyable and can improve your game, bad beats notwithstanding....
i can confidently say playing here has improved my live gameLast edited by Auto Donk; 12-20-15, 12:03 PM.Comment -

#16I will pay it all back just like I said... No reason to hate on me bobbywaves. It seems a lot of people here hate on you? I have no issue with you. No reason to start with me. I've borrowed way more real money and won and lost but overall have won and have always paid my debts.Comment -

#19Pboozer seems like a good guy and a decent player. He had me about 1,000 down at 3/6 after hitting two runner runner flushes when I flopped trips and a couple of rivered straights but he didn't hit and run like most of the prikks here. He kept playing and the usual BigOrange run good happened and I ended up with about 3,600 chips (2,100 ahead or so). I never said a word on the bad beats that I took and he didn't either. It was a fun game.

I play live at least once a week at MD Live. 2/5 NLHE and 5/5 PLO. Great games there. Busiest poker room on the East Coast.
I had over 3M hands played online before Black Friday. Mostly 2/4-10/20 PLO.Comment -

#21This was a fun game. I wish I could find it more often. The only way to play at this level when you first start off is to borrow. So that's what I did. Again I started playing here on 12/15. If I could obviously buy more of these points to play well I would be reloading. Again not sure if you guys play live because if you did you would know it's all the same shit. Online poker is just much faster so you see so see many more hands. I've played more live poker which I feel I'm obviously better at and the bad beats are all the same. Being able to read body language and facial expressions are a big advantage with me so online takes that out of the equation. I don't plan on going anywhere and 1 losing session doesn't mean anything. Its the true long run. I never hit and run and if someone does it to me I get they are a rookie and I shouldn't be playing them in the first place.Last edited by BigOrange; 12-20-15, 07:35 PM.Comment -

#23Yeah I used to play on Pokerstars as well. I play live 2-3 days a week here in Houston. 3/6-5/10 NL. They run 2-3 tables and it's usually pretty easy to beat. I usually stay away from Omaha live since I feel I would be better off playing craps.Comment -

#24Too much variance in PLO and NLO for most people. The swings will drive you nuts. I remember running a $400 buy-in at a 2/4 table into $25k on Party Poker in less than an hour. It was absolutely nuts.Comment -
