How do you run your home poker games?

What are the buy-ins? rebuys? Drinks/food provided? Pro dealer? Rake?

Cash game 200 in rebuy for more if stacks are big...good food and drinks...dealer is provided...and there is a reasonable rake...host loses more than they rake.

£50 sit-and-go, food and drink provided by the host in lieu of his buy-in, no rake, deal goes round the table until the first person is knocked out at which point they deal.

Food, drinks, reasonable rake, and depending on how much is on the table, security. I've seen some games have a straddle gimmick or will throw in an extra $50 or so in the first hand to get people there early.

What's the most common rake, % of each pot or 10% right off the top of the buy ins (200+20)?

dude , pass the dealer around, simple stuff, nobody here hires any pro damn dealer. anyone can deal.
Have a set buy in, no rebuy, buy some junk food. Allow people to bring food and drinks.

cash game can start whenever people get eliminated from the tourney. Play dealers choice or a round of holdem, a round of whatever , just have people agree on it and have your friends vote on the buy in, chip count, etc

tourney clock, just use a damn watch or alarm clock

Missing the point. I know how to run a shitty poker night, I was looking for how a little nicer ones are run.
