These so called poker stars are stuck in the past with The Super System and now are getting their ass' handed to them by the 4 betting 21 yr olds. No one is intimidated by them like they were 5 or 6 yrs ago. Out with the old and in with the new.

if u notice there is new every year , the young guns of 5 years ago are gone and even the ones of 2 years ago except for the ones with a big bank roll.

Your wrong dutch and the old school players dominated the wsop and europe games this past year for the most part

I mean what do you really expect from a guy who relies on crazy props for Buy-ins? He had to get down to 185 2 summers ago just so he could get enough cash to play some circuit events. He's always been a total degenerate.

I'll agree that a few pros have changed with the times, Hellmuth and Eric Seidel come to mind. But young guns are replacing last years young guns every year. The old school players haven't kept up. IMHO.

I was in the poker scene for years. I've played with him many times. He is a total degenerate jerk. He will ask total strangers for loans. Believe it or not most of these tv "pro" poker players are all the same. 95% of them are break even, or big loss players. VERY few actually make decent money, and the money is still not enough (with the exception of a few top pros) to compensate for all the good times in life and with family they miss.

They recycle money to each other and when they can't get a loan they pawn their $hit. Most of these tv "pros" just got lucky at the right time, in the 2004-2007 era when the average player was horrible, in very small fields, and got on TV. They are popular not because of their play, but their antics.

The only successful poker players are the ones that re invested their winnings and exercised proper bankroll management. There is like 5. I find it ironic and amusing people call Jerry Yang a total donk idiot that got lucky and won the Main event 4 years ago. The guy took the money and ran. The poker world likes to pretend everyone is honorable, helpful, and buddy buddy, but they turn on each other the first time they get shot down for a loan.
