Apparently on my way to winning yesterday's 8 p.m. tourney (and subsequent ring game play), my username caused some consternation among a select few players. Far be it from me to offend anyone, so I thought I might look into how to change my username from its current provocative state, to a name suggested to me by a couple of other players: "Balllistic Bub".

Indeed, the consensus seemed to be "Ballistic Bub", and that sounds just peachy-keen-super-duper-neato to me. In point of fact, one fine gentleman suggested I just shorten it to "Ball B" or some such truncated moniker. As I diligently strive to please my fellow players, I am similarly fine with that.

I must hasten to add, however, that I would be most pleased in my quest to change my name to "Ballistic Bub" if I was assisted by the renowned gentleman and scholar affectionately known to all as: "Thaddeus B".

For if my 'reading' abilities are correct, Thaddeus B really took a shine to me.

If Thaddeus is not available, I humbly request some "mystery... sumpthin' sumpthin' I can't remember " guy -- he, also, took quite a shine to me in the ring game -- as my alternate Capital letter, small letter, Capital letter really seemed to piss him off. He emphatically implied that a 12yr. old he knew was smarter than me... and I, of course, concurred. I strongly ask all fellow SBR'ers to refrain from thinking bad thoughts about this "mystery..." guy, because as we all know, sometimes grown men hanging 'round 12 yr. olds is perfectly legit.

Um...er... ah... yeah... sometimes. I, for one, chose to give "mystery" the benefit of the doubt.

Finally... I'd be remiss if I didn't once again bring to everybody's attention that Presidential candidate Ron Paul 2008 was once again found to be dickin' round in the poker room. Here exists a man with obviously skewed priorities.

I'd like to thank y'all for your sage advice and thoughts... much appreciated. I'm compelled to mention, nonetheless, that I don't think it's proper to act on changing my name to "Ballistic Bub" until Thaddeus B gives the out-and-out, "Hellmuth"-type all-knowing-of-all-things OFFICIAL STAMP of approval. Only then will I feel truly comfortable.

Unless, of course, someone can pry that "mystery" fellow away from that 12yr. old...

Hey Bite, funny shit man! You gotta remember the level of intelligence you're dealing with here when it comes to guys like ttwarrior.
