    I have always liked his articles but this one is sick/awesome. I find it hard to believe that the old lady was that vindictive and killed the whole table.

    I'm calling BS on this story. The old lady intentionally mucking a bad beat hand is a poker urban legend. I've heard it told as happening in multiple different ways in multiple locales since well before 2006 when the story was written.

    The author here is almost certainly just repeating the urban legend for the sake of getting paid to write an article.
