    OH SHIT!!! Serioulsy, there are no tournies for other members during this ryder cup event? I did not know this, I now log into sbr poker and see no tournies. Man really disappointed. Feel left out.

    I think the problem with the Ryder Cup is the lack of notice; it seems like a good portion of SBR Pros didn't even know it was going on until it was too late (I myself jumped right back into the tourneys when I saw the Ryder Cup post).

    The Ryder Cup itself isn't a bad idea imo, I'm sure if everyone understood it beforehand, there would be no qualms with battling it out for a spot. In addition, I'm willing to wager that Ryder Cup has similar EV as the other poker series (if not, better depending on your region); it's not very different from the "Saturday Champions Tourney" in February.

    Yeah, I didn't either till late.

    Maybe could have done with a bit more promotion, maybe on the main page. Higher limits in the book perhaps, possibly gets more people to watch and comment on it.

    ditto- i definitely missed way more tournaments than i played in the qualifying month.

    its 3 days, relax guy/s. first prize is roughly how much you got for being around when a royal flush hit. not everybody got a piece of that either.

    these tournaments are extra- despite only being extra for some.

    i liked stash's idea of the winning team's inhabitants getting a tournament just for them but even if you get nothing then its the same nothing you would get if there were just no tournaments for a few days.

    Not that the Ryder Cup is a bad idea, but these days of not having tourneys for the general public is rather disappointing. But I would never complain, the freerolls are great in general!

    Well that's not entirely true, lou made a post that the SBR sportsbook and poker would be closed for, I think it was 8 days after Ryder Cup was done. Upgrades or some such nonsense.

    The Ryder Cup was a cool idea, it would of been a better idea if I had made the team..lol, but without poker for the rest of us feels like we were just left out in the cold.

    Congrats DS on going 2 for 2! I still think USA has too much depth and is going to pull out the victory.

    If you haven't read the point system changes that are fixing to occur, you had better go read it. Changes really effect any poker winnings in tournaments. Have to meet a rollover requirement now.
