    Why is SBR limiting the daily tournaments to 30 players?

    And why are only 4 tables available early? Some of us are blocked from SBR Poker at work and can't register for the late tables. Then when we get home the tables are full. Why not allow 50 or 60?

    Half the people at the tables don't even show up. Why not make those people skip a day? Instead we have 15 people playing and their 15 ghosts that don't play.

    SBR has continually tweaked the Tourney format. I personally like April's format the best. 30 players gives everyone the feeling they have a decent shot at finishing in the points. I suppose they could tweak the numbers higher or even lower. Time may be a consideration.

    I guess if there are lots of people not able to get in, the answer I feel would be to bump up the NUMBER of tourneys, not the number of players per tourney.

    I think no matter what the format, some will feel left out.

    Many ghosts, yes that is an issue no one likes.

    Thanks for the input Richards. More tables would sure help.

    I also noticed that they are booting players who don't show up. That doesn't do me a whole lot of good if I can't get in. It just leaves me holding my dick in my hand looking in from the outside.

    Late reg, after booting the ghosts would be a good idea. I have missed a couple of tourney's by a couple of minutes.

    The 30 player setup is one of the better game set ups. 2 or 3 double ups and you are in the money. Take the winnings to the casino and double it.

    I like the 30, it is reasonable. Any more would feel like a crapshoot

    I like the 30 person setup, plays quickly, usually down to 5-8ppl by the break. Blinds aren't so high that you just have to shove at the final table, I think the pace plays well.

    60 players->tourney lasts 2 hours-> doesn't worth wasting two hours for betpoints

    I'm guessing that even if you had to play with the ghost player's stack who had been getting blinded down for a few minutes, most players would accept this, if it meant they could get in the tourney. I haven't played since last week, but ghosts didn't seem to be too much of an issue in the PM EST tourneys.

    I see your points about the 30 people per tournament. Perhaps that's not the issue. I am currently unable to register for the later tournaments because they only offer 4 at this time.

    Why not offer all the tournaments now? Are they afraid they will fill up early so later people can't register? If that is so, that is what is happening any way.
