I just got an email from the poker ewallet site picclub telling me about a new poker site that uses a live dealer. I guess it's just like regular online poker except you don't have a RNG it's an actual live person dealer just like at the casino. It says they have tournaments and cash games except now you don't have to worry about computer controlled "tricks" or "bad beats" because you have real human dealers shuffling real cards. It says in the email i have been chosen to participate in the launch of the site but i don't even know if I'm gonna bother.
Just because you have a live dealer doesnt mean your not going to have "bad beats",its called varience.Bad beats happen in brick and mortar casinos not just online.
lol try it out just for the experience. i mean i wanna check it out it sounds fun... not that i believe it will have less bad beat but it sounds like something new and new always goes with me
this seems silly to me. The rake will need to be higher to generate enough to pay the dealers. There will be very few tables/limits, less hands per hour... etc...
Also, to be real, how do you know that this is a real live dealer? A streaming live video feed? It does not fix bots/colusion and other real online problems.
Lastly and the most obvious question is, all of this assumes the RNG is acutally a "problem". If you buy into the conspiracy theories, sure but otherwise, what is the benefit? None that I can see.
I would truly be surprised if this is real and/or ever even comes close to being successful.
