Had a Vic 20. Colecovision was THE gaming system. It was all about the wood floor model tvs. We were big time. We had a remote without a wire, till my sister put it in a toy stroller and filled it with milk.

I made a trade for a portable stereo with 8 track.

Music videos were the thing. You would know about a Micheal Jackson video premier about a month ahead of time. You couldn't wait. It was like a movie.

Internet? The only thing you hooked your computer to was a tape deck that would be for data cassettes.

Internet? Later on there was dial up and BBSes. I remember downloading game that were 300 kbs and I would go to sleep while it was downloading. Had to do that at night so you wouldn't get a call that would drop your connection. I thought I was the man when I bought my 14.4 modem.

My stepfather ran his business with a pager. I talked him into moving to a cell so he wouldn't have to leave the construction site every time he got a page. He still misses that brick phone.

My first cell was the Nokia 100 when I was 16.

My first car had a Kenwood Cassette deck that I put in.

We had VHS. I remember going to video stores and seeing a small section of Betamax movies. I think my first VHS player (4 head Panasonic) is still downstairs in the closet.

Grew up at the north end of Manhattan. Favorite team growing up was the Giants. Saw alot of games at the Polo Grounds. Went to Yankee Stadium once in awhile. Ebbets Field once. Best baseball with Mays, Mantle and Snider.
