NICKY said it best YEARS AGO.....

"Why open an offshore book when one can stay home, bet, profit more, with far less hassles"?

It was around this time that NICKY emerged as a forum legend and most realized the guy was not a neophite, and he has never looked back since.

I'm guessing the year was 2002 or 2003......maybe earlier.

It would be cool to hear from NICKY and have him reflect back on this.......Nicky?

    Make no mistake about it.......

The vast, vast majority of THE SHARPEST of the SHARP are on Nickys side of the counter.

    Credit booking is very profitable

    No books ever starve

    Booking is much easier

Nicky has to work his ass off to make money

He is at banks all the time

Why, because when they can't make it, they just steal post up players money and retire in Zamswobie or Texas?

Nicky is feared by bookmakers in Montreal, this is one of the reasons he must have many offshore accounts.

My local knows him as the Claude the poster,i once made a Giant play on the Eagles,my local said AL, why such a bigger then usual bet on the Eagles i told him a poster on a gambling forum had a dream and swears g-d gave him the result, he laughed his balls off at my retarded reasoning, then i said it was a poster from Montreal named Claude,he almost choked on meatball hoagie when he heard this.

He then cancelled my play and gave me a phone number to an Irish bookie, telling me he doesn't want my action if i have access to Claudes plays cause he beat him for 14k in 3 months,he told me he doesn't mind sharps but doesn't want super sharps.

good story - doesn't nicky/claude basically play soft lines/middles. thought he was a grinder/scalper. "its all about the numbers boys" right? (not disputing this at all)

but posting that sh1t, i mean aren't the numbers all gone by the time u actually get there. or am i like the slowest 1 finger typist since captain hook?

Your lucky, because the play was a loser, but unlucky because he cut you off

yes fishler, good memory. this is what i said.

Betting offshore is the greatest thing ever. it beats being a bookie. when i was a bookie, it sucked because i always had to worry about my door being busted down by the cops, which it was twice, getting a criminal record, been handcuffed 2 times in front of my neighbors. i had people not paying me, people on payment plans.. i had to look over my shoulders every time and when i heard noise in my hallway, i thought it was the cops. i'd have nightmares each night thinking the cops just busted my door down, and they did a few times. Today, i sleep like a baby with no worries...i had to work everyday certain hrs, deal with the public, tons of deadbeats and stiffers, drive 2 times a week to meet people to pay and collect, had to worry about getting set up and shot, we had to find customers, hoped they would call, hoped they would pay and not stiff.. and the list goes on.

but with offshore, you can do all that from the comfort of your own home with 1 click of a button. you can get the same lines as being a bookie, just shop around with 5 diff reduced juice books and its like you're a bookie getting the same lines, if not better, except it's LEGAL and you dont have to worry about your door being busted down.. you work when you want and you put in the action that you want, as many games as you want. you are your own boss. I dont have to drive around the city for 2 days hoping to collect and i dont get shot. i just sit home and press 2 buttons and the wires are done.

IF I HAD OFFSHORE 20 YRS AGO, I WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN A BOOKIE AND TODAY I'D HAVE MORE FRIENDS CAUSE I LOST ALL MY FRIENDS I EVER HAD FOR WINNING THEIR MONEY. I DEVELOPED ENEMIES.

Internet betting is the single greatest invention since sliced bread..what am i saying.. it's much better than sliced bread. I thank god each day for internet betting.. it changed my life completely.

It's an honor for me to be able to speak and associate with such legends as Fish, Nicky and many others on these pages. And this is not a BS post. I really mean this.

Maybe I've been at it for awhile myself, but pretty much have flown under the radar so to speak. Over the last decade and more so much I have learned from guys I have never met in person except for Fish. You never stop learning in this life we choose. We are family!

May all your bets be winners boys.

I always loved walking into a sportsbook in vegas like the Stardust. Being able to click on the Spurs and betting a dime and then sitting in my easy chair to watch the game is soo cool. Im no pro which in yesterdays game became apparent quickly as I was on the wrong end of a beat down. Still its a good feeling to have sharp action...it must be because square action is fun too.
